Cool to see a great tag teamer in his own right like Storm defend LOD's honor. And the announce guys are right...it IS Chigaco. No wonder Bad Influence went "there."

Someone check the 15th row of James Storm's head.

Damn...I guess TNA wants me to cheer for Morgan. Cause I want to right now.

It's the beard. And his perfect geometrically shaped head.

I think Batista will be an alright Drax The Destroyer

I'm happy he's been cast.

:lmao: at Aries asking how to do the Deathlock.

Is...is Aries making fun of who I THINK he's making fun of with his Scorpion Deathlock confusion? Dahahahaha! This guy is...awesome!

Aries is getting a pretty good match out of the Stinger tonight.

Everybody claiming for CM Punk to be a face, have you guys forgotten why Punk wanted to turn heel in the first place?

His character, and his natural persona, are much better suited as a heel than a face. Not that Punk can't pull off being a face, he can, but he's much better and much more natural in the role of a heel, and it's where he wants to be right now.

Punk turned face not because his character is suited better as a heel, but because they wouldn't give him Cena # 1 face slot. So he went for being the # 1 heel instead of the # 2 face.

His character works as both a face and heel. That's why it's hard for some to boo him when he cuts his promos because a lot of times they're laced with the truth, and who can boo that?

I almost died :lmao: That was awesome.

And DAMN SPIKE TV FOR CUTTING TNA OFF WHEN A&8's IN THE RING!!!! :wall: :cmad:

Dammit I love Bully Ray's work right now. Thank god TNA was smart enough to at least go with him as Aces & Eight's leader. He did a great job heelin it up at the end of the show.

And they finally did something right to make Aces and Eights look strong so Bully looks strong as leader. If they were going to end the show in a brawl it was best that Aces & Eights won to get the Bully Ray era off to a good start.

:funny: Yeah I'm seriously wondering if thats what Aries was doing. The initial set up to the Deathlock and figure four are similar when the victim is on his back in the ring. At first I didn't know what was going on then I figured he had to be doing it on purpose when he kept trying and asked Sting for help.

I can't think of any other reason why he put a comedy spot like that in the middle of the match. But who knows. If he WAS doing what I think he was doing that sh** was comedy GOLD.

well his heel turn was weak with no build up and obviously forced

At this point I just refuse to boo him. Kind of like when Austin turned heel in 2001 & Rock in 2003. I wasnt booing my favorites no matter what. Punk is my favorite of this era. U want me to root for Cena or Ryback against him? Please. No way!

Punk's best heel work was in 2009-2010. Punk's current heel run is good because it's Punk, but he's playing a generic heel. He's not doing anything as interesting as his straight edge messiah gimmick. Punk was the best face WWE had regardless if he's a better heel or not. I'd take face Punk over any current face. Who's more entertaining as as a face than Punk? Certainly not Cena, Orton, Ryback, Sheamus or Miz. Bryan is the best face in WWE and he's working low card feuds.

I'm disgusted and ashamed to say that the new WWE title is starting to grow on me a little bit. :csad: :oldrazz:

I told everyone the title was going to grow on people, including myself. It's not that bad a design. Sure, it could have use a bit more like another color or a globe behind the logo, but it's actually pretty good design, better than recent titles (at least they had the balls to go back to the old IC title which is awesome).

I get the joke but just to go into it seriously for a second since its an interesting subject:

Wrestling "acting" probably has more in common with stage/theater acting than film acting...only its usually not as well done, rehearsed, or as serious. Its more simple in its subject matter but carny in its flamboyance and its like physical performance theater. The "stage" is, of course, a ring, an entryway, or backstage.

In both cases there's often only one take in front of live audiences. Everything has to be exagerrated and embelleshed for the people far away in the live crowd. Movements, expressions, body language, vocal range etc. are bigger and bolder. That way it "reads" more easily.

On a giant movie screen theres much more room for nuance in acting. There's sometimes take after take to try different delivery and combinations. Wrestlers usually don't have to do that kind of "acting." Some of em are not so bad at it but they usually aren't called on to be as natural and introspective.

I'm sorry but I'm never going to like a title that's just a marketing tool. I understand it, but I don't like it. WWE has moved further and further away from what it was since going public.

Wrestling. Broadway with beatdowns.

So, essentially, it's an off Broadway production.

Very obvious, because out of attacking Rock, he did nothing heelish. And even then, I think he justified why he attacked Rock.

I think I just wanted the Spinner gone for so long, that I'd accept almost anything over that thing.

Nothing beats these beauties though...
