The Wrestling Thread: Oh Mah Goodness...Part 33

I agree. Ryan is more entertaining than some guys on the roster.

That reminds me, I just want to say how nice it was to see McIntyer job on RAW this week.

Is it just me or did McIntyer look... Um... "bigger"? I don't want to say fat... but...

If Taker returns... he should return heel and align with Anti-WWE.

I'm not one of the guys who thinks Taker can never be booed, anyone with that talent level can get the crowd to do whatever they want with the right booking or character tweaks, and I've said a Taker heel turn would be cool in the past... but I don't see how that would work.

For years he's been booked as and called the the cornerstone of the WWE or the "conscience of the WWE." I see no reason for him to suddenly want to bring it down and align with guys who've been fired or feel wronged by the company because they're spoiled brats. Sure he fought Triple H at WM and they had a war, but it was based off respect so I can't see him even doing it to get back at Triple H. Just my opinion on it...

Well... if Vince is Anti-WWE... maybe he could feel some form of allegiance towards him? Unless Triple H turns heel during the match... but I'm not sure how that could be pulled off either.

That's a good angle to go with, because Taker is loyal to Vince.

That's an idea, but Taker's never really liked Vince, his deal is more that he's just loyal to the company and what's best for it. Like I said, I'm not against Taker turning heel, just don't see how it works here.

Triple H turning makes more sense to me. He tried his best to lead and do a good job just for everyone, even the faces he stuck up for, to walk out on him. Unlike Taker, HHH really is a vindictive mean bastard, so I can totally see him just saying "Scew all you guys" and turning on everyone.

I have to wonder what Taker we'll get back... if we get the Undertaker... I don't see him being a heel. If we get The American Bad Ass... I could see him being heel.

I dunno.. I'm just trying to wrap my brain around this to try to not make things so lop sided.

I'm ok with it being lopsided. If the reports are to be believed, they just wanna make it a huge feel good thing with a ton of huge stars defending the WWE in the Mecca that is Madison Square Garden. As long as the heels put up a decent fight before being eliminated, it would raise all of their stock just to hang in there against the super team.

I'd like to see it play out this way: Since the stipulation is control of the company on the line, Triple H plays nice through all of this and works with his team, enlists the help of Taker or Austin, brings in Rock, pulls out all the stops to make sure his team wins and he retains control... just to turn after the match and beat down Punk then get the hell out of there while the rest of the team looks on like "wtf." Next night he explains that he was so sick of being the nice guy and getting nothing but ******** in return for it. It's HIS company now, and he's going to run it his way. He manipulated and used all of these guys to make sure he stayed in control, and now he's going to make their lives hell and there's nothing they can do about it.

We then either blow off Punk/HHH at Mania, or if Austin is up to working with Punk at WM like some people are suggesting, have Punk beat Trips at the Rumble so Punk is free to work his program with Austin.

I don't know about Punk vs Austin... I'd like to see it but wouldn't that HURT Punk? Austin is going to be hard to boo and I don't see Punk being the heel.

Then again, they don't seem to care about Cena in Rock vs Cena... So...

I l ike your idea about Triple H... maybe he could beat Del Rio for the Title so he and Punk can go at it at Mania?

All along I've been predicting and hoping for Punk vs. Triple H for the title at WM. Just seems to be going in that direction and it would put him over huge. I've said it a ton of times, either in December or January HHH should win the belt and say Punk never gets a shot unless he wins the Rumble, Punk wins, and beats him at WM...

I just mention Austin vs Punk because the dirtsheets seem to be talking like thats a real possibility, Austin's even been saying he might be up for it, and their Twitter feud just makes it look like they're teasing us and giving hints in case it does happen.

Realistically and with the current storyline, I like Punk vs HHH more, but if they can convince Austin to do it, they NEED to let it happen. No doubt it'd be the bigger match and do even more for Punk. You can't just say "Steve it's great you finally want to do a last match, but we kinda got this other idea we maybe might follow through with if we don't mess it up." I've got no idea what the story would be, but I trust Punk, Austin, and Vince to come up with something cool and the actual match would be epic enough to justify it. Face vs Face can work, and it'd be a great passing of the torch, the original rebel handing it off to the new rebel.

according to PWInsider Vince McMahon And Chris Jericho have been in talks and negotiations for a possible return

Jericho would be perfect for the anti wwe team.He would have history with Rock and Cena as well as HHH.

Just read the Smackdown spoilers and this walkout angle is so ridiculous. Triple H is COO of the entire WWE not just RAW, so the wrestlers saying they're not working RAW as long as Triple H is COO, but working another WWE show, is stupid. The board of directors should've named Ace interim COO until they make a decision regarding Triple H. It gives an excuse as to why the talent would work SD. Triple H is not a freaking GM.

Duh, it's obviously because Teddy Long overshadows Triple-H as an authority figure in every conceivable way

Seriously, my head hurts from trying to comprehend the stupidity of this.

Duh, it's obviously because Teddy Long overshadows Triple-H as an authority figure in every conceivable way

and Ryder has more power than Teddy and HHH combined.

he's the real mastermind behind this conspiracy........

woo WOO woo......you know it.........:o :oldrazz:

It's obvious that this is all thanks to the plotting of the Anonymous Raw GM.

If Ryder was the boss everyone would have mandatory tans.

Sheamus would end up looking like a jacked Patrick Starfish. That's one way to get over with the kids.

The vote of no confidence doesn't mean no one would work their dates for at least two weeks, otherwise they'd be sued. It's easy to say they are working the show tonight as a decision regarding Triple H will be made on Monday, as long as they meet their obligations.

Mark Henry being involved is funny though since he's one of the main aspects of the WWE being an unsafe working environment. :D

As for Punk vs Austin, if they are on the same team at Survivor Series have them be the last two left in the celebration, have Austin throw Punk a beer and he wont drink it, so Austin stuns him, thus it starts.

The walk out is a decent storyline but this is a much safer environment. Who cares about the Awesometruth...... The Brothers of Destruction would of had me s***ting bricks.

Taken from youtube , this had me chuckling :
"The crowd has just booed the entire WWE roster, cameramen and announcers and are cheering for HHH. He finally did it. He buried the entire roster all at once. This is truly HHH's finest hour."

Also, that would be a great set-up for the Austin/ Punk dream match.
