Pretty sure this is wrong. I am sure Hogan came out second at both WM5 and WM7. He was the challenger in both matches.

well i started watching wrestling when it was around wrestlemania 8 :yay: since then i can't remember a time when any champion went first

didnt Shawn Michaels come out 2nd as the challenger at WM 12? Imo the only time a challenger should come out last is if they win the Rumble at challenge whomever at WM for the title.

First WWE PPV in 15 years that I've not bothered with, reading the results doesn't make me feel like I missed much except for JBL's commentary and AJ wet.

It was the opposite for me. I randomly thought to myself, "Ah what the hell. I know a place where I can't watch it for free.":cwink:

I just saw the last part of the Eve/Layla match, the Sheamus/Del Rio match, and the Punk/Cena. The last two matches were good, but the Sheamus and Del Rio one was pretty predictable. I like both guys in the ring, but the fact that their feud has been pretty lopsided didn't get me too involved in it. With Punk/Cena it was a really good match with sort of a sloppy finish. But as mentioned in here I cut it off when Cena "won." lol

JBL was great though. As much as I'm glad that King is healing well I haven't liked his commentary in years. He used to be great, but his decline as a great heel commentator has not been so good. JBL not only said good heel things, but he brought back building up the wrestlers in the ring. That's something that has been missing big time from the commentary team. JBL clearly had his favorite, but he still put over both guys in the last two matches. I wish he'd stay on long term.

Maybe it's just me, but the WWE joining forces with Susan G. Komen doesn't bother me at all. Hell, the NFL and Major League Baseball, two leagues with much more credibility than WWE does it every year. My view is that if MLB and the NFL do it every year, then why not WWE? Hopefully it's the start of something that they do on a yearly basis.

I'm not too excited for Raw tonight. Granted, I'll probably be flipping channels between that and the Broncos game, but I just DON'T want to see Cena showing up and again giving the rebooted history of Punk cheating through his ways.

It's a good cause, but I'm not sure why someone would be have a problem with the WWE association with it.

I also hope this is the end of Sheamus vs. Del Rio. I am so damn sick and tired of Del Rio.

Because there will be people who hate the WWE who will have a problem with it and demand that Susan G. Komen sever ties with WWE.

In other words....Phil Mushnick

Have you ever considered giving the UFC a shot?

Well the only two matches I had any interest in were Ziggler/Orton due to watching their 2 recent TV matches on Youtube last night, and Cena/Punk simply because of the quality of their previous PPV matches, even though the booking of this angle reduced my interest greatly.

Reading that Cena kicked out of the GTS twice and that Orton beat Ziggler made me less inclined to even track them down let alone order the replay.

I know many seem to be enjoying the Kane/Bryan stuff, but I've never liked Kane and I don't have much interest in D Bry the comedic tag worker.

JBL was great though. As much as I'm glad that King is healing well I haven't liked his commentary in years. He used to be great, but his decline as a great heel commentator has not been so good. I loved JBL on commentary back in the day so I imagine he was a breath of fresh air, as like everyone I wish the best for King's health but for most I think not having to hear his dwindling, illogical commentary any time soon is a plus.

I've watched some, it just doesn't really appeal to me.

It's that time of year where Vince will absolutely go ballistic at the TV ratings and PPV buys even more due to them crushing the WWE:

http://www.nfl.com/

In fact, I had NOC in the small Picture in Picture screen and the big PIP screen, I was watching San Francisco beat Detroit.

Both have the same demographics, except that one has a lot more credibility than the other, although both have the issue of concussions.

I expect though for the WWE to spill a lying sack of crap tonight when of their "Did You Know" segments claim that they are better than the NFL, which they claimed last week, which we all know is a damn lie.

Good publicity for them too.

It's the WWE, duh. :oldrazz:

hmm I may have to watch the main event

People actually thought Cena won? You could tell the finish the second they both hit the mat and the ref started his count.

I did say "Both shoulders were on the mat. It can't end like this." So I knew something was up,lol. Unless your talking about people in the arena. I could see why they bought it. Also you neve rknow with WWE. I wouldn't of put it past them to ignore the shoulders on the mat.

I think most people were expecting some type of screwy ending. It would of been a bad idea to take the title from Punk but now it's just the beginning of the end.

Only thing I wish happened was the match was restarted afterward and Punk hits a sneaky gts on him. But i loved the match anyway. I love Punk/Cena matches. They are pretty much THE go to main event match of this era.

Good PPV.

Real good match with Lil Rey Rey, Sin Cara, Cody and Miz.

I could see WWE turning Cody face and having him fued with Miz.

D Bryan and Kane are entertaining. Anger managment stuff is gas been the most fun thing on raw for a while.

Kind of hoped Ziggler cashed in his money in the bank on shemaus tonight.

Glad CM Punk retained. I'm not a fan of multiple finisher kick outs.
Surprised Vince let Punk dominate Cena for large parts of the match up although Cena kind of no sold alot of moves.

Honestly thought Cena would win.

DREDD looks pretty awesome.

Some people have been calling it like a modern robocop due to the fact its gritty, futuristic and violent which is funny because Judge Dredd inspired Robocop.

I can see how it would be confusing if you were in the arena, but from watching on TV, the both superstars' shoulders on the mat finish was a tad obvious.

The problem now is that this match has established that each superstars' conventional finishers aren't going to cut it.

Well it took about three tombstones for Undertaker to beat HBK at WM 25 so they could have done the same thing. 3rd gts finally puts down Cena.
