WAIT TRIPLE H CUT OFF HIS HAIR?! HOLY **** now i gotta go and do the same. :oldrazz:

edit:

Thing is, I was planning on getting rid of my pony-tail for some time now. Now The Game does the same and my peeps will be sure to point it out. Can't imagine Helmsley without his Thor-like hair.

Wait... TAKER TOO? :wow:

I know I've been missing out for some time now, but this is huge.

did they ever explain why?

Likewise. Mike Johnson of PWINsider.com also reported this on his hotline today. Apparently Hardy had thoughts f going back to WWE. There is talk that TNA actually giving him the belt as a sign of good faith to keep him around.

The word is TNA wants to get a return off of Hardy they they never got due to his drug issue last year.

This pisses me immensely as Storm, Ray,amd Roode were all screwed because of this, not to mention Aries now might lose the title because of Hardy. :cmad:

I understand wanting to keep Hardy because he's a name and sells the most merchandise by farm, but this is the ultimate slap in the face to your homegrown dedicated talent who earned their spot and chance to headline BFG.

Honest to God it is decisions like these that make me worry that guys like Storm and Roode will leave TNA when their deals are up.

TNA would be better off giving Hardy a raise. It could never be what WWE could offer but it seems like money is his main motivation for wanting to leave. I give Hardy credit for cleaning himself up and being a team player as a supporting act but its TNA's fault if they throw Storm and Aries and Roode under the bus. I can't blame Hardy for any decision he makes but TNA looks to be taking a step back from all the progress they made if they do this.

Of course WWE probably would consider taking Hardy back but with the lawsuit and Linda's senate campaign they might not touch him right now.

It was a poorly conceived and forced heel turn. They're so desperate to make Punk look bad they'll make anything up. I'm surprised Cena didn't make a play on Punk being rude to fans. Punk could of said he's sick of playing second fiddle while still being a face. It just doesn't make sense.

The worst part was when they had Cena say that Punk was stealing Savage's elbow just to get Punk some cheap heel heat. Nobody bought that. The kids don't care and most of the older fans know its BS. I'm sure Cena was told to say that but its a sign of how desperate they are to have Cena booed less and not have Punk cheered over him.

You should also start dating your boss' daughter and sabotoging your co-workers.

And it still didn't even work as Punk still gets cheered over him.

Maybe if they pull something like Punk beating up Cena's dad...but, well, maybe not. Hasn't Cena's dad been boo'd before as well infront of a crowd?

Cena really is one of the most pathetic top babyfaces in wrestling history. Readiing the descriptions of the crowd reaction at Night of Champions made me laugh so hard.

For Punk to get a full-fledged heel reaction right now, he'd have to go to the middle of the ring and burn the American flag while getting same-sex married to Jerry Sandusky.

PWInsider.com is reporting Jeff Hardy wants to return to WWE in 2013 when his current TNA contract expires. The report goes on to say Hardy wants to return to WWE for the big money contract as he's lost quite a bit with his legal proceedings over the last few years.

WZ has spoken to sources very close to the situation who claim this is not entirely accurate.

According to our sources, Hardy would be open to returning to WWE, but one source stressed, most wrestlers always are. Currently, Hardy would like to take time off as he wants to take care of his mind and body.

Reportedly, Hardy is in good enough financial standing that he can afford to take time off and doesn't need to rush to the next big paycheck.

PWInsider.com reported TNA is trying to do whatever they can to keep Hardy, the company's top merchandise seller, on its roster. WZ can confirm this is true. TNA has been aggressively pushing Hardy to re-sign and has talked about putting the world title on him to help persuade Hardy to remain with the company.

WZ will bring you any new information on the situation as it progresses.

- As noted before, the September 17th WWE RAW scored a 2.86 cable rating with 4.05 million viewers, about the same as the previous two weeks. The total number of viewers was the lowest in months. In comparison, the Denver Broncos vs. Atlanta Falcons NFL game did a 11.58 rating with 15.52 million viewers.

The highest rated segment this week came in the first quarter-hour at 8pm, which did a 3.21 rating. WWE had a large audience to start but lost them early when the football game started.

In the segment breakdown, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio vs. Primo and Epico lost 404,000 viewers when the football game started. Titus O'Neil and Darren Young attacking them plus Eve Torres vs. Beth Phoenix lost 17,000 viewers. Heath Slater vs. Brodus Clay lost 129,000 more viewers. MizTV with The Miz, Booker T and Ryback gained just 381,000 viewers in the 9pm time slot.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Santino Marella and Justin Gabriel vs. Wade Barrett lost 153,000 viewers. The Subway segment with Jared and various Superstars lost 478,000 viewers and fell to a 2.64 quarter rating. Kane and Daniel Bryan vs. R-Truth and Kofi Kingston gained 362,000 viewers, picking back up most of the viewers who tuned out during the Subway segment.

The post-match stuff with them hugging lost 169,000 viewers in the 10pm timeslot, doing a low 2.78 quarter rating. This is a very bad number for that time period of the show. This is the second time a long drawn out hugging segment in a key timeslot has bombed.

Tensai vs. Randy Orton lost 150,000 viewers. Zack Ryder vs. Damien Sandow lost 169,000 viewers and did a 2.56 quarter rating. Sheamus and John Cena vs. CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio in the main event did the best growth for a quarter in a while - gaining 823,000 viewers for a 3.14 overrun rating.

- WWE tested Drew McIntyre out as a babyface earlier this week as he wrestled Jinder Mahal at the Superstars tapings on Monday. Based on what happened Tuesday night at SmackDown, McIntyre is staying a heel.

- The WWE Supershow on September 15th in Portland, Maine drew 4,000 fans for $140,000.

- We noted before that Sheamus is scheduled to feud with Big Show. The feud will likely kick off next week as Sheamus is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Title against Show at Hell in a Cell inside the Cell.

- A funny story about Brodus Clay is at the RAW in Montreal, he was legitimately sad that he did bad in the viewers choice segment to pick an opponent for CM Punk. Booker T saw how he was acting and started ribbing him about it until Clay told Booker to leave him alone.

- The surgery that John Laurinaitis recently had was actually for a torn rotator cuff. He will be out of action for several months. He was scheduled to continue doing run-ins at live events and had been told that he was being brought back to TV as a character. Laurinaitis complained of the shoulder injury and was taken off shows but did work the tour of Australia. By the time that tour was over, he had to have surgery because the rotator cuff was in bad shape.

- Fans cheering for Dolph Ziggler and booing Randy Orton was something discussed internally with the idea of possibly turning one or the other. We've noted before how bad Orton wants to work as a heel but officials are keeping him a babyface because of roster depth issues.

This week on MLW Radio, Konnan talked to co-host Mister Saint Laurent and Court Bauer about a recent backstage encounter with Kurt Angle while the Olympic Gold Medalist was wrestling for AAA at Triplemania. The incident was the result of an earlier MLW Radio podcast in the spring where Konnan had revealed that while he was in TNA, Angle had confided in him that Vince McMahon had tried to lure Kurt back to WWE by regularly sending him flowers. Kurt responded via Twitter vehemently denying the allegations. Fast forward to TripleMania in August, Konnan states:

"Remember when we were talking about Kurt Angle? I was like, hey, cool dude. I even marked out when I heard he was coming to TNA, but give me a break about the flowers thing. People sending him tweets telling him 'Konnan said you got flowers from Vince' and he said I was delusional.

"Well he showed up in Mexico for a show, for Triplemania, about a month and a half ago and we hadn't talked since [the flower controversy]. He came in and literally for like the first three hours he wouldn't even speak a word to me. He wouldn't even look at me when I was going over the match. Obviously I'm going to have to tell the guy that he did say [Vince sent him flowers]. Maybe he doesn't remember it, but we have to squash it because I can't work like this. And then -- I don't know what happened -- but he just totally chilled out. Without me talking to him, all of a sudden he's very serious, wouldn't talk or look at me and then the next minute he was alright and like hugging me."

The new episode of MLW Radio is available for free at MLW.com and on iTunes (search: MLW Radio), along with episodes featuring MVP, The Ultimate Warrior, Billy Corgan and many others.

I'm sure that's what every publicly-traded company wants to hear when they offer someone a job.

"Yeah, I want to work here because I need the money to pay off all my legal bills from my many narcotics-related court cases."

I think this is hilarious considering if he showed up on Raw next week with no footage for a titantron that nobody would know who he was. Let alone that they want to keep him heel as if they had any plans for him at all in the last two years. I think for Drew's sake he should leave, do his own thing else where then if he can make a name for himself again come back in a different light, the longer he stays doing nothing in WWE the more obscure and useless he becomes.

I know Orton wants to turn heel but I think it would be silly to turn Dolph right now.

Hard to say how WWE would react internally. With their lack of true star power right now they might not care if he asked that. Publically I'm sure they're wary of hardy but privatly is another matter. Vince doesn't REALLY give a sh** about the law or whats right. He just does what he has to for PR reasons. Look at Be A Star. We all know thats a steaming load.

They can't seem to or don't care to make any new stars that were as over as hardy was but if if he came back to WWE he would be instatly over. Thats what WWE likes. Hell they put the WWE title on him AFTER his last wellness failure

I just keep thinking...what'd they expect? nobody gives a sh** about McIntyre as a heel and they certainly wouldn't as a face. he needs some major long term rebuilding adn work before most people care what happens with him.

Ugh. Sheamus Vs. Show is something I'm not keen on seeing. Rather see Alberto get jobbed out one more time.

Maybe if they pull something like Punk beating up Cena's dad...but, well, maybe not. Hasn't Cena's dad been boo'd before as well infront of a crowd?

Beating up Cena Sr. is always the cop out to ensure the heels keep their heat. Edge, Orton, and probably Punk now. Ugh!

John Cena's burial of WWE.com on Twitter:
Some #jackwagon from @wwe dotcom apparently posted me recovering in 14 days. I spoke in depth with my surgeon Dr James Andrews And he specifically told me due to the amount of fragmentation, SIX WEEKS is a safer time table for recovery. I apologize on behalf of a Website whos credibility is now equal to #theonion please @wwe web guys, get your monkey frankin facts straight! You folks have my word i will try my best to get healthy as quick as i can, and im sure i wont stay away from #raw but as of now...I am supposed to lay low for SIX WEEKS. I will send surgery photos and video to @wwe so they can see how bad it really was. I am also sure that if @wwe took a second to reach out to the actual surgeon, that Dr Andrews would gladly comment. #internetmalpractice. Ok, im now off the soap box and back to being just a one armed man. Enjoy your day.

"Monkey frankin"? Did he actually type that? Wow...

Guess the 'E figured he's returned in half the time from all his other injuries this case would be no different.

Oh Cena's workin' us all and he'll be back Monday AAing *****es left and right.

I place zero blame on Hardy. This all falls on TNA creative and upper management.

Hmm....This is interesting if it's true:

Tokyo Sport and The Wrestling Observer are reporting that WWE and All Japan Pro Wrestling have forged an alliance and will be working together. John Laurinaitis reportedly helped put the deal together. More details should be available soon.

Doesn't The Great Muta work there?

I really hope it leads to cross-promotional tournaments like WCW did&how TNA has done with NJPW,AAA&CMLL for the X-Division World Cup!

Cross-promotional merchandise would be awesome too,A WWE vs AJPW game like WCW did with WCW vs The World&WCW World Tour

So much potential with WWE&AJPW having a partnership!

For Punk to get a full-fledged heel reaction right now, he'd have to go to the middle of the ring and burn the American flag while getting same-sex married to Jerry Sandusky.

Don't give Vince ideas.

Beating up Cena Sr. is always the cop out to ensure the heels keep their heat. Edge, Orton, and probably Punk now. Ugh!

But, alas, even beating up Cena Sr. won't give Punk more heat. I'm betting he'll be cheered while he beats up Cena Sr. The guy's no Lawler.

What's the problem with the bolded part?
