The WTF Moments Of Spider-Man 3

My Chemical Romance = The deterioration of good music

I will however give them the benefit of the doubt because they are good showmans
Everyone is entitled to there own opinion but yes I have to admit IMO MCR blows huge a$$. But thats just my 2 cents. Long live Nine Inch Nails!!! It wouldnt have ruined MCR's songs but would have made the scene 10x worse.

I have no problem with other people's opinions or predilictions towards other genres or bands, hell I'm a metalhead so It's rare when someone agrees on liking my music. However if you decide to have a succesful career in music, and intend on being the lead singer, it's generally useful that your able to sing...My Chemical Romance singer, can not.

yep Harry loves his pie...and man does he love to give off the ultra evil vibe as he winks at Parker

Have you even listened to there music?

I'm talking about the stuff thats not on MTV and the Radio?

you don't know what you're missing the band is the most versatile band rock bands I've heard in a long time.

They can make songs like Cemetery Drive and then others like Cancer and Sleep.

Lyrically great, listen to Cancer and tell me it's not a powerful song to anyone who's lost someone to that blackness.

What do you mean by deteoriation of good music?

What's good music to you? cuz most of what I hear now a days is absolute crap.

I am a classic rock guy I love The Doors, Hendrix, Zepplin, Floyd \m/

Skynard, Stones, etc.

But as far as modern rock which is mostly crap I agree. I like MCR for having some pure talent and having great songs that get me pumped and have a meaning.

I agree its not for everyone but I hate bands like Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco.

What makes that scene even better considering Harry is a young, good looking and rich guy, is that the hot waitress when asking him 'Hows the pie' is clearly flirting with him, what does Harry do?! he winks at Peter instead

Well I classify FOB and PAD in the same place of MCR as the more Pop-rock though MCR is obviously darker and heavier. I still dont like them IMO. But you can have your bands and I can have mine. =)

I'm not the type of person to critique something without trying it, I have given two of their studio albums a listen. I see nothing talented about a vocalist who whines and moans his obviously manufactured lyrics. What makes it even worse, is when playing live, he can't even hit his own awfully dreary notes and the whiny voice becomes even more of a challenge to listen to. You know a band arn't good when it pains you to listen to their music with headphones.

See, I could listen to a Fall Out Boy or Panic album far quicker than I ever could another MCR. I'm not a fan of either bands music, but both produce easy going music that can be picked up quickly. The only MCR song that I find well written is 'Ghost Of You', musically and lyrically it is a decent song.

WHOA!!!! Hold on a second there man! what you got against talented rock bands??:cmad:

I'm a huge MCR fan, hell you can even call me an MCR Zombie.

I'm glad it wasn't MCR playing in that stupid dance just because that scene is so bad it would have ruined one of their songs.

Toro!!! \m/ a Guitar Legend in the making!

Outside of their second album all of there songs are horrible.

I Know exactly what you mean man It took me a while to adjust to Gerard Way voice. He has a unique voice and style of singing but at first may seem strange but when you give the band a good listen and this may take a while you get to appreciate the uniqueness of their sound especially the vocalist.

I had the same thing were it was harder to listen to at first then conventional bands like Fall Out Boy which are just plain.

MCR is a mix of everything the lead singer said his favorite band is Iron Maiden and he grew up loving rock opera's of the old days. He's also a fan of punk rock like the Misfits. So thats were his sound comes from.

The band won me over with there lyrics and versatility I tell that this band is going to be around for a long time just by that versatility alone. They play Heavy, then ballady, then punk then goth all in one.

I don't know what songs you heard of theres but all that heavy stuff and then they can write and play Cancer which means something to me and many people out there who have lost a loved one to it.

Then they can play this type. It's about one of their friends who commited suicide in a bathroom.

I'm not much of a fan of classic rock either, which is clearly what influences MCR. I'm very much a lover of modern metal/hard rock. I wouldn't consider any of MCR's music remotely heavy, but I suppose to someone who likes them alot, they would probably believe thats heavy.

Well some of their fans say the same thing that Black Parade isn't as good as Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge and Bullets. I hated Black Parade at first as a fan but then after really listening to the album. Its like that with most albums you have to listen too it a couple of times over. I then loved the lyrics and even its different from their older music I like it of its own style and merit.

Some fans refuse to appreciate the adaptation of their fav bands but I try to grow with the band and their style.

Red Hot Chili Peppers is a perfect example of a band changing and adapting but still remaining good to a certain crowd.

Some old fans of theres hate the new stuff and some new fans hate the old.

With MCR I love all 3 albums the lyrics really speak to me. My fav band of all time is Pink Floyd hands down and the only other band to make albums that speak to me like The Wall and such is MCR.

Someone wanna tell me what the hell MCR (blech) have to do with Spidey 3 at all?

Someone wanna tell me what the hell MCR (blech) have to do with Spidey 3 at all?
It has to do with a statement like say (bleh) being made and leading to a conversation among adults in a free country.

Like say I brought up toast right now and me and you started talking about foods.

Now if you soley want to talk about spiderman then instead of making a jab at other adults conversation maybe you should of took the time to say or ask something about spiderman.

Give it a whirl say something about spidey and we can chat about it all day just for you.

Ha! Red Hot Chili Peppers arn't good to anyone anymore, they should be taken out back and shot due to old age

lmfao yeh you're right there they cant be partying the same way anymore its just creepy. I didn't like there newest album at all its total crap. I respect them for surving over the years though the same with U2 another rock band that Im not huge over but have much respect.

lol You gotta think tho as old as the peppers are and any other band gets...So long as the Rolling Stones keep playing they will keep raising the age limit bar for rockers.

The Stones are freaks of nature im convinced they sold their souls to the Devil. :wow:

These bands just don't know when the quit, The Stones need to just let go, parts of Jaggers face falls apart whilst on stage. The only reason they sell out gigs is because they have a legion of old fans, it's not like they're making any new ones. They don't raise the bar, they trip over it

U2 are great, they continue to release new material and actually keep things fresh.

The Chilie Peppers havn't had a good album since blood sugar sex magic

Now I loved the Stan Lee cameo...but the whole movie was way to Mary Jane for me...Dunst is fugly.....MY #1 WTF moment must have been the two little kids behind me in the theater that never shut the f#@k...and the Butler pissed me off also...

Not 2 get sidetracked from the wtf moments but, MCR's songs are already as bad as they get i don't think SM3 coulda made em worse then they already are.

I had a really ****ed up crowd at my theatre as well, everyone was talking the way through. I must say though there was a great atmosphere when Peter shoved MJ, everyone started clapping and cheering

-Stan Lee
-The transformation of ALL the villains. When I was getting used to the idea I was watching the movie, PUFF Harry becomes the goblin in 10 seconds. Then the asteroid. WTF? And then Sandman. Seriously, it was embarassing. Poorly accomplished. Unbelievable.
-Venom's voice.
-The onipresent Gwen. (did she really need to be involved in everything? Chemistry, modeling, kissing, dancing, everything?)
-Venom.
-Venom.
-The crane scene.
-Venom knowing everything about Parker, Marko, the Pope and the global warming crisis. Huh?

Well, I think they nailed Venom. He needed to be in it more though. Eddie should've been introduced in Spider-Man 2. I loved the screentime Venom had though. I'm not complaining. It could've been terrible but it wasn't so yeah.

Now, how does Venom know everything about Peter? Because since the Symbiote was attached to Peter in the comics, it gains all this info from Peter. When Eddie gets it, the info transfers. It also blocks Peter's Spider-Sense and of course, gave Eddie all of Spider-Man's powers.
Simple.
How does he know stuff about Flint Marko? I have no idea. I know he knew who Flint was because Spider-Man had. He knew Spider-Man was having issues with Flint because of the Symbiote's info transfer to Brock. But I really don't get how he knows about Flint's daughter and all that. Really, that was a big hole.

Unless it was a lucky guess of Eddie lol.

^I think most of the issues people have with this movie was cut from the film. Hopefully the director's cut will address most of these issues and give some back story to Sandman, Eddie, and Gwen.
