The WTF Moments Of Spider-Man 3

One wtf moment I noticed is that apparently bullies exist in college.

Yeah, that was pretty stupid. Two blokes pea shooting at Peter, and one reflecting light into his eyes.

Come on.

pete should have sensed it and moved out the way.
hey, maybe he DID sense it and allowed himself to be hit to further enhance his secret identity.

this movie was fun...there were some strange moments the dancing bad in black peter was Hillarious IMO and it was meant to be laughed at....and be a WTF moment at the same time.

This movie more so then any other Spiderman movies really had Rami's fignerprints all over it, Darkman has tons of comedic moments that interlay inbetwixt of what is a pretty serious horror movie.

I really loved this movie, when that Crane smashes into the building again..just the whole way the shot is designed it feels like Rami..the close up on Gwens face right before it all goes bad. Moments when you know something bad is coming..... and feel bad for a charater cause they just don't.

Yes, but he was Darkman. Spidey is Spidey and he needs to be respected. And, the presence of Venom needed "pretty serious horror" moments, and there's absolutely NO presence of that.

^ WTF moment in a post.

Oh, man. The memories. I remember when I saw Darkman and found it one of the best superhero movies ever back in 1990.

Yes, I do understand that. But "aggressively hitting on women in the streets"? :oldrazz:

Look I never said I was a dance hater, as a matter of fact, I said and still think it was funny, its just that I feel the movie could've worked better by showing Pete's PHYSICAL aggression, as shown in the pictures he took. Don't get me wrong, I still liked the scene, just didn't like where it was placed (timeline wise).

From looking at your avatar, you seem to have a thing for dancing superheroes. :woot:

the bullies in college was dumb... there are no bullies in college

So Darkman deserves no respect. Gotcha.

When will people get that Spider-man's personality is not that of Batman's? Even in the comics the black suit made him a jerk. He didn't go around kicking puppies and pushing old women in the street. He danced because he was an arrogant powerhouse that could do whatever he wanted because he's f**king Spider-man.

Although I thought it was overkill, I didn't really find the emo Spider moments to be wtf. Perhaps inappropriate, but I think Raimi intended it to be a little tongue-in-cheek...even though it was supposed to be a darker Peter.

The only "wtf" moment I had was the butler scene. Given the rushed nature of the movie I thought it was just a little random to have him come in and give Harry that speech.

i have to agree

thats true but maybe the bind got stronger over time
He could take the suit of before because the symbiote knew he'd come back to it. In the bell tower he was getting it off for good, so the symbiote was clinging on with all it's might.

The Butler was crazy...old...and crazy...what was up with the Guests.... what kind of Guests...do you mean guests

he was mad old, he had seen some stuff, kept his mouth shut but it was time to just time to chime in

when i realized my coke was diet! I mean that was one big WTF!!!

spread the gif

At least he wasnt Dancing to My Chemical Romance!!!!! :cmad:

Just a random fun fact: Did you know the butler was played by Bill Paxton's dad?

Really, that's an interesting thing we should all be thankful for. The music used in those scenes are pretty accurate if you ask me. Maybe because I dig 70's funky soul music, I don't know, but let's face it, with another kind of song/music it'd have been much worse!

D!

bad guy, all in black Parker was the bomb... it was kinda in the same light as Dorky fresh Peter walking happily along without his powers in part 2

Just wondering if anybody could help me understand a couple questions I had from the movie that made me say "wtf??" I've seen the movies but haven't read the comics so maybe someone can help me here:

1) Venom: why did Spiderman just get a bad attitude from the black stuff but when it went on Topher it looked completely different, changed his voice, and ADDED HUGE FANGS??

2) Sandman: why could he turn as big as he wanted and be able to turn back into human form (and how did he fly?) I don't understand exactly how he could make himself huge.

3) Why when Parker makes a jerk of himself by hitting Mary Jane, then he looks at his shirt all alarmed like he finally realizes he has to stop wearing it......then the next scene it shows him IN FULL BLACK SPIDERMAN COSTUME....and only then does the costume give him a hard time removing it.

4) In Spiderman 1 Norman Osbourne goes crazy and hears voices because of the chemicals and experiment he was subjected to.....why does Harry start hearing voices since at that time he was not subjected to chemicals or experiment (if we date back to spiderman 2).

5) When Harry takes the chemicals that Norman did, how does he turn good in the end (like flicking off a switch)? Shouldn't the chemicals make him insane like Norman?

I still really liked the movie it just seemed to be more sloppy than the first two. I still give it an A+ for the fun factor.

^ Everything there can be answered by either "Dunno, it was like that in the comics, period" or "Plothole"

like that in the comics except the fangs on brock (the 'mask' has fangs but not brock personally.

2) Sandman: why could he turn as big as he wanted and be able to turn back into human form (and how did he fly?) I don't understand exactly how he could make himself huge.

flying is new, probably just riding air currents.
as for getting big sandman is able to add mass to himself by absorbing sand ( loads of sand on a construction site) you saw this when spidey takes off half his face and sandy absorbs some sand to fix himself.

3) Why when Parker makes a jerk of himself by hitting Mary Jane, then he looks at his shirt all alarmed like he finally realizes he has to stop wearing it......then the next scene it shows him IN FULL BLACK SPIDERMAN COSTUME....and only then does the costume give him a hard time removing it.

hitting a loved one must have been like someone throwing a bucket of cold water over him. the suit realised peter wanted to get rid of it for good and so clung tighter.

4) In Spiderman 1 Norman Osbourne goes crazy and hears voices because of the chemicals and experiment he was subjected to.....why does Harry start hearing voices since at that time he was not subjected to chemicals or experiment (if we date back to spiderman 2).

more than likely harry refined the chemicals, you saw him come out of the glass tank where you inhale the gas it's possible harry had done this on numerous occasions and that wasn't the first time.

5) When Harry takes the chemicals that Norman did, how does he turn good in the end (like flicking off a switch)? Shouldn't the chemicals make him insane like Norman?
