I'd rather have Peter crush on Liz, get rejected, have MJ be his safety net in terms of the dance (her introduction ripped from the comics), they mingle and become friends (as the film is coming to a close).

No relationship needed. Just give us 616 MJ with a bit of Ultimate.

This is what I want as well and what I think may possibly happen if the first casting news from Zendaya ends up being true and she plays a smaller role in this film which expands heavily in future installments. It would also fit with "she's not the love interest" for this film because their romance can blossom in the sequel and beyond.

I really like the idea of Laura being Liz and I hope that ends up being true.

Agreed. In regards to Laura, I think she has to be Liz as I can't see her being anyone else. Also adds that she was researching Amazing Fantasy 15 (whom the only notable girl in it is Liz).

The idea of her being MJ had already started to grow on me, but this photo in particular really sells it to me. Probably just have to give her hair a little more of a red shade.

Lol, they outlined them which made both eyebrows seem closer together, they also filled them in which makes the eyebrows more of a focus and basically brings them to attention, and since Zendaya does have nice brows on her own this is just unnecessary attention and doesn't look right.

Makeup it's complicated.

You misunderstood. MJ would be the safety net in that, prior to her showing up, Peter would have nobody to go to the dance with after discovering Liz and Flash got back together. So when MJ shows up at his doorstep, he not only has someone to go to the dance with, but he's going with the most 'hottest' girl at Midtown High.

Simple stuff.

I'm not fan of both but Zendaya 8, Shipp 7. Pretty girls not sure about the acting talent though.

Also I'm not fan of Shipp as Storm.
