I don't understand addiction....pills, alcohol, drugs, I never really understood why people do that stuff to excess and let it wreck their lives...I had a gambling addiction for about 4 years and kicked that....but I never woke up in a place I don't remember going to or something like that

I understand indulgence, just not addiction

I'll pop the occassional pill, drink on occassion, even span out my weed smoking

but it's never gotten to point of needing any of that to make it through the day (****, it's been almost a week since I've last smoked some ganja). It's cool, sometimes you need to relax

I've never woken up in places I don't remember going to, or pawned my electronics or collectibles. Not going to happen, ever, could never justify it.

I don't understand how I didn't notice the "S" in the Superman symbol for years. I'm dead serious. When I drew Superman I always struggled with drawing the symbol because I thought it was some strange Kryptonian symbol.

It wasn't until I went to Darian Lake and saw the symbol on the roller coaster and that's when I spotted it.

The Disney thing is incredibly common. There's even a Facebook group about it.

I didn't realize it was a "D" until I was like seventeen.

people that don't understand brutal honesty....good example...I was out to dinner with some friends last weekend...this woman comes up to me and introduces herself, said we went to HS together...I honestly dont remember and try to be polite, and she's like "how can you not remember?"....and I said "look, Im sure youre very nice but I HATED HS, with a passion, I have no fond memories of the place and was happy to leave it behind"...after that, it was awkward and she walked away...my friends were like "whyd you have to be such a dick about it?"....what am I supposed to do?? Lie??
