Things You Don't Understand

they live in some Mexican bordertown

and I can understand if they had to get rid of some characters because of budget concerns, but they dont even make mention of them and act like they never existed

I hate when they do that in any tv show

They did that in the second season of JAG, left off season 1 with a HUGE cliffhanger and then completely changed it up and abandoned that storyline in Season 2.

well the show changed networks, so its acceptable in that instance....

I odn't understand the love for NCIS or CSI.

I don't understand why people still watch TV. I stopped a decade ago with the advent of reality television and the end of great shows like Wings and Seinfeld.

The writers of Smallville :D

QFT, man what they did with the 8th season was ridiculous.

They had the greatest setup for what could have been the BEST season finale the show ever had, and it ended up being absolute crap.

Why people get so upset by celebrity deaths, listening to someone's music or watching their movies does not mean you know them.
I'll speak for myself
Half of it is just memories. The recent MJ death. I was sad mostly just because of all the memories Ive had that had to do with Michael Jackson's music

I dont ever see anybody claim they know somebody just because of their work, their just sad thinking that a talent or a beauty is gone or just get choked up thinking of all the memories that the celebrity inadvertently caused

But death is good. Death makes *you* good. Go out on a killing, raping spree -- once you die, it'll be forgotten

What happened?

because there's still PLENTY of good shows on tv

George Lopez, King of Queens, Smallville (might change with S9), Rescue Me, It's Always Sunny, Scrubs, My Name is Earl, etc.

not to mention shows that never got old: Seinfeld, Home Improvement, Fraiser, Futurama, S1&2 of Family Guy, oldschool Simpsons, King of the Hill

yea, dropping the ball would be an understatement

they really took a crap on the show with that one, my god, like common sense never came into play when they were writing it

there's a saying going around these days: Common Sense is not so Common anymore

George Lopez and KoQ still run?

George Lopez and KoQ still run?

like 7 times a day, 7 days a week, on 7 different stations

at least in Illinois

I want to add the following to the list: Bernie Mac, Fresh Prince, Married With Children, Martin

all shows still in syndication in Illinois

I was refering to non-syndicated shows.

Yeah, it's more a relation you have with their work as opposed to them. It's just a real sobering thing for some people when someone they've highly admired for artistic reasons takes the final dirt nap.

It rarely happens with me, but last month when Carradine died it was kind of like that. I loved Kung-Fu when I was younger and watched reruns of it all the time. I loved Caine the wandered to death, it was all just so cool. Not to mention his other roles throughtout the years. When I found out he was dead, it was just shocking to know someone I admired from that POV was gone. Even if it was just a character he was playing on TV, there was still some relation from me to him for that

I don't understand people who start a thread about something they read on another site and just post a link. I know it's extremely hard to select some text, copying and pasting it and then adding the quote tags and.. wait, it is a difficult task. For the average internet user, at least.

I understand it, I just hate it

I don't understand how nobody mentions Everybody Loves Raymond here. I think I'm the only ones who likes the show here?

Debra's a biatch and Ray's a freaking idiot who makes rookie mistakes and acts like a damn nerd

show is alright, it's only saving grace is the grandpa

Debra does become insane but at the same time became hotter.

Ray is an idiot but that's his whole character.

Who doesn't love Frank?
