Things You Don't Understand

One thing I don't don't understand is why people refuse to read. People, not just children, but grown men and women, refuse to read any sort of instructions printed in front of their face.

I work in a store and get swamped with questions about the credit card machine. After seeing that there is no pen for the machine, they ask "How do I do this?"

We have a paper taped to the machine that says "NO PEN, USE FINGER".

I don't ever read the instructions for my new gadgets or whatever. But I always manage to figure em out

^That's a bit different. Those are usually more highly detailed and long instructions. I wouldn't fault someone for not doing that. What keith v was talking about are extremely simple instructions that people still refuse to read. I see that all the time at my work as well.
