Things you wanna see in Spidey 3

People are still complaining about the action? What do you people want...a meandering, pointless, 20 minute long Matrix Reloaded freeway chase?

I could understand the complaints about the first movie's action, but the second's?

We didn't get this in the first movie...

Whereas, in the second movie we did get this...

I don't see what you people want. The action in the second movie was a marked improvement over the first movie's action. I mean, Spider-man and Doc Ock moved exactly the way I thought they should have. I guess it's just a case of, "Different strokes for different folks."

How about fro spidey 3, theres like a 15minute action sequence that has spidey chasing gg2 all the while dodging and evading the police and their gun fire.

As for spidey's action, it needs to be longer and we need to see more scenes of him using his reflexes and agility on a defensive side. Spidey in most scenes in both movies was on the offensive.

Exactly. We need more acrobatic close-quarters fighting with a stationary camera, like the all-too short armored car scene from the first Spidey movie.

Also, more enhanced stuntwork and less CGI Spidey in these types of scenes.

Absoloutly you hit the nail on the head.

the main villian being killed in a climactic sequence, then mj and peter get married and green goblin crashes the wedding!

Uhm, just posted this in another thread, decided I should have posted it here

A nightmare sequence where its back at the bridge (in SM 1) mary jane falls and spidey webs her to catch her by the leg, he does but her head wips back from whiplash and snaps (a la gwen stacey) then pete wakes up in a cold sweat

Ooh, I had the exact same thought, although slightly different.

He has a nightmare that a blonde girl falls off the bridge by the hands of GG, Spidey webs to catch her but breaks her neck, wakes up in a cold sweat but doesn't tell MJ about it... Towards the end of the movie, GG2 kidnaps MJ during an acting gig, so she has a blonde wig on. Pete arrives only to see a blonde girl getting thrown off the building, he has a major freak out as he saw this happening in his dream and has to think of a different way to save the girl, that is really MJ!

What I really wanted to see in the sequel was shots of Spidey on the side of a building talking on his mobile phone as Peter.
Some cool ways of him changing into Spidey (falling off a building, changing on the way down, webbing his clothes to the side of a building)
Having his clothes in a websack at the top of the bugle?

Ok so this post has lots of buildings and bridges in them, it's purely a coincidence. However, I am an architect...

Kidding.

A lot of the previous posters made excellent points.

1) The Lizard! He's a favorite villain of mine, and he's a logical choice, with the most current background. And it could lead to interesting fights, like in the sewers, as was earlier suggested. Or somewhere out of the city; I'd like to see Spider-Man try to fight the Lizard when he's totally out of his element.

2) I agree that one of Spidey's lesser foes should be in the opening - there are a lot of cool villains, like Rhino, that couldn't hold a movie on their own, but would be fun to see on the big screen.

3) Things leading into the Venom story, such as the introduction of Eddie Brock, or the symbiote coming back from space.

4) A time gap of less than three years! I mean, if SM3 takes place three years after the second one, we won't have to worry about Harry finally making a choice to become the Green Goblin because he'll have drunk himself to death...

5) Snow, or some other kind of bad weather. It doesn't have to be a Christmas movie or anything - I'm just curious how Spider-Man handles bad weather. How does he swing on webs during a really windy day?

6) Some sort of consequences to his unmasking on the train. I mean, a lot of people saw him, and I'm sure they're all grateful he saved their lives, but I think there'd be at least one person willing to tell someone what they saw.

someone else other than mj being kidnapped:o

and that doesn't mean super strong AUNT MAY EITHER!!!!

Spider-Armor! Spider-Buggy! and most of all Spider-Ham! :D

Something like this....

Just substitute a certain Redhead for the Blonde, and change who's under the Goblin Mask... and... away we goooooo. *hums... Redhead to Heaven in 2007* ;)

Seriously, I would love to see the classic shot of Spidey tied up in cable wire, trying to break free, while GG2 (Harry) threatens MJ in front of him, while taunting him.

That would be interesting....
The wire and taunting, I mean, not the killing of MJ.

Question....

How do you put up the picture here?

Click on insert image, paste the pic's address and there you have it, bob's your uncle.

You know in the comics.... when Spidey was under a LOT of rubble, etc.
I think this happened 4 or 5 times in the comics, and he always thinks about being sorry for MJ, for Aunt May, about how it´s not worth being Spider-Man, but in the end there´s that great sense of responsibility and stenght of will, and with that Spidey lifts the whole thing out of his back :-D

I almost cried in Spec. Spider-Man v1 #98 when he held the bugle over his back (well, it wasn´t exactly the whole building, but anyway...)

I reaaaally would love to see a scene like this in Spider-Man 3. In Spidey 2 he held that wall from falling over MJ, but that wasn´t enough. It has to be bigger, and it has to show him thinking about all of which makes him be Spider-Man and ponderate over it.

What do you guys think?

I think the scene in spidey to covered that subject and it's time to move on to fresh ideas:)

Didn't he do that in 2? He held up some big wall that had MJ undernieth, right?

1. hopefully spidey swinging in some weather, snow would look awsome.
2. Moving battle scene - much like the one in spiderman 2 when spidey encountered doc ock on the clock tower.. but a little more movement.
