After Star Wars I turned to Mass effect, Halo, Star trek (2009) and Avatar.

There my new Star wars

well untill the live action star wars show... I don't bother watching the cartoons.

The only thing that is in Star Wars class is Star Wars. Every single frame of every SW film is analyzed a million times over by people. Even the Prequels with their mixed reactions have been talked about more than any other film series of the last decade. I would think HP is the closest thing in modern film or pop culture to SW.

Star Wars is cool because of the action and the lightsabers, Harry Potter has kids with wimpy wands.

I don't even really want to say that HP is all that close (I'm not bashing HP). The Phantom menace had people camping out 6 weeks in adavance. Ever see Star Wait?

Well yeah I get what you mean. But I'm trying to say compared to everything else out there: besides Star Wars...Harry Potter is probably next in line. It may not be that close but its likely to be closer than everything else that isn't Star Wars.

Halo was cool the first time around. That's pretty much it, if you ask me. The music was fantastic as well. Now? it's worn out. Besides, the original king of shooters, Duke Nukem, is back in June to take his rightful place as king.

While Harry Potter and LOTR certainly are quality films, I think having been equally popular books hurts the comparison because Star Wars was unlike anything anyone had ever seen. The Matrix probably should've been the next major film series, but damn those last two movies sucked.

While Vader is def. iconic...he would lose in a fight. Now Starkiller in Force Unleashed is pretty badass and powerful.

PS : I don't know the Exp Univers very much, no idea who is Starkiller ( beside it was the name given to Luke or Obi Wan in SW early draft ).

The powerful wizards don't even have to say incantations. They just flick their wand and blammo. You see Order of the Phoenix? Voldemort or Dumbledore would make hamburgers out of any Sith Lord **** they can even teleport, fly around, or just say avada kedavra and it's over.

Halo is no longer as popular as before but it's still damn successful and good, however the cliffhanger in the end of Halo 2 sucked and they repeated the elements of Combat Evolved iin the sequels to much.
By the way, i don't think Duke Nukem Forever will defeat Call of Duty, Battlefield 3 will probably be the winner.
