NBC and SyFy are owned by the same company, so I'm assuming if they wanted a weekly show on NBC, it would already be there. I also don't know if SD does near the ratings to be seen as a prime time hit on a network, as opposed to on cable.

They moving SD to USA Network starting next year anyways. Just was never sure why they never tried NBC but now I understand. SD should be on the same level as RAW.

It could still work with Rollins as a heel and HHH as a face. Rollins beating HHH one on one even if its by cheating and injuring HHH would go a long ways for him. Would make him look even more strong as a heel and if he is still WHC when they feud even better.

Rollins is due a comupance though.

Smackdown should be on the same level as Raw again but if they continue to treat it as they do now then might as well make it a wwe network show like NXT

I think USA will want WWE to raise the profile of Smackdown once the move happens.

Yeah so a good chance SD could be on the same level as RAW. SD should be like how it was from 02-06. It can still be the show that primarily features wrestling matches but more storyline focus that not a repeat of RAW can be done better. The wrestling is not the problem on the show.

I can't wait for Tommaso Ciampa in a NXT ring next week. I've been asking for the 'E to sign him for years now.

he actually had a WWE developmental deal in 2007

Make the IC title or U.S title the unofficial top title for Smackdown and focus on single midcard and tag team feuds. Vince doesn't care about developing storylines for the midcard on RAW, so give writers a chance to give the midcard and undercard character progression and stories. Do backstage segments, sit down interviews, video packages, on location segments, and anything else you can think of to enhance the matches. Vince is always going to pimp the big matches on RAW, Let Smackdown actually make the PPV's completely fulfilling by making the other matches important.

With Smackdown moving to USA, we will finally see a rise in quality of the product. USA will demand Smackdown being worthy of being on the network. That, in turn, will raise the quality of RAW. Making the B show good means the A show must be fantastic.

Would anyone want another brand split? I don't but it would make the roster have more to do I guess.

Sometimes I kinda miss the brand split but don't know, I dug the concept and how it worked out in the first few years of the RA era but then I wanted it to end so bad and now I feel mixed about it.

Maybe if Trips took over and made it his like NXT and if the IC title was Smackdown's main title instead of two world titles on the main roster then sure maybe

I'm actually for it now after being on the other side for years. My only demand would be that it become a hard split again and we get brand exclusive B PPV's, that way each brand has more time to develop storylines heading into their shows.

And he was **** then. He was **** for a good while until about and year plus in his ROH stint. He would have been worthless then. This is the Ciampa I want in the 'E, not what they would have produced in OVW.

Rollins isn't turning face. They are making him out to be a *****e who thinks he's above the legendary Triple H. I think the story is Triple H humbling Rollins.....barf.

Come on....if they were turning Trips Face in the feud, Cena's promo wouldn't have been saying "They're using you, open your eyes"....It would have been "HHH, why have you wasted your time of this delusional fool".

I hope I'm not wrong but right now, nothing tells me Trips is gonna be face in the feud.

I'm liking Apollo Crews so far, We shall see in the next few months and so on

They didn't need to have Cena say that because Sting already was kissing Triple H's butt earlier in the night and downplaying. Seth. Seth is doing nothing but obsessing over a monument of himself and inflating his legacy in promos; nothing face-like at all. Unless he's turning face via handshake with Sting or Cena after the match, I don't see it. They are making it seem justifiable that Triple H would turn on him. Rollins has gotten so much help from Authority members over the past few months. He wouldn't even have gotten his opportunity for the title if it wasn't for Kane, why is the ingrate who put himself above the legend a face?

That's what we'll have to wait to and see....I mean Shawn Michaels didn't act face like at all before Mania 11 but he was the one that turned face afterwards because Psycho Sid beat on him.

So with Rollins, he'll either gradually show face traits in the coming weeks OR he'll come very close to beating Sting at NOC just to get robbed of the victory by Trips because Trips wants to confirm to himself that Rollins hasn't surpassed him.

I see it as Sting simply trying to stir ***** up and cause a riff in the Authority by making it sound like Rollins isn't fit to lace HHH's boot when he knows damn well Trips cheated him out of the match.

So overall, this aspect of the angle has just started and the developments that unfold will tell us more but if Cena's telling a heel "you're being used", I doubt that heel is gonna stay heel for too long.

I see what you're saying but Triple H and Steph do tweener stuff so often that it has me second guessing the direction. They aren't consistent heels. I just think it's easy to spin this in a way where Triple H is in the right. Turning on Rollins doesn't seem horrible given what we've seen.

I was thinking the same for Smackdown. I think Smackdown should be more for the midcarders, though I don't think you need that many segments for smackdown. I think backstage interviews and promos is enough. I think there should be more emphasis on matches with Smackdown. Have the midcarders wrestle longer matches on Smackdown. A promise of great matches can get fans interested in Smackdown again.

It just occurred to me that WWE is actually acknowledging that Sting had a great WCW career. I don't think they did that for anybody, not even Goldberg. That might have been a demand from the Stinger himself, but either way it's great to see WWE not pretend that they're the only wrestling company to have ever existed. Ever since the Invasion, they went out of their way to make WCW look inferior and places like ROH seem non existent.

Just ordered the Best of PWG Vol 2. Can't wait to watch it.

Not for a brand split. It worked at first cause the roster was too big. Now its regular size so do not need a brand split. NXT is basically filling that role right now being its own brand within the WWE. But I do like the IC or US title being the main title on SD and the shows being about the mid carders.

Good thing it was just a false alarm arrest
