I don't see how WWE could make Rollins holding the title that long entertaining unless, they change his booking and alter his character. I'm sick of the formula of his supposed allies "testing" him, Seth crying about his situation, then somehow escaping with the title, Triple H and Stephanie, you're heels, so act like it. Vince didn't test The Rock when he was a young, 26 year old corporate champion.

Obviously I am out of the loop but I can't believe Triple H and Steph are still doing their routine two full years on, they aren't just the fart in church they are the giant turd lodged under a pew in a church that has been knocked down and had a mini mart built on top of it and you can still smell the steamer in the dairy section.

I feel like he's turning chicken **** into chicken salad and considering the material he's been given since Cena, he's showing that he could do more roles than monster heel.

I'm pleased for him, I liked him as a monster heel but if you are going to last, especially these days where feuds are burned through quickly, he was gonna need to have more strings to his bow.

I don't think that will happen with Rollins. I really wouldn't mind the Nikki taking the longest reign from AJ if she actually defended the belt. It's like when Ambrose became longest reigning US Champ but never defended it.

Lets call a fake rack a fake rack, and I will admit it is a magnificent fake rack, maybe the best fake rack I have ever seen, but until Nikki got said fake rack and started jumping Cena's junk the Bella's were a novelty act, she may have improved but last time I saw her she still wasn't all that over and couldn't make her mind up if she was a face or heel. Her extended reign isn't even based off the usual wrestling barometer for such a thing.

He's basically become Balki Bartokomous on HGH. His character's malapropisms and mixed metaphors, combined with the incongruity of his physical appearance and in-ring character, is kind of connecting with fans on a comedic level.

So kind of like a muscular Santino? I'm guessing the new title came from something Rusev said?

I'm against Nikki breaking AJ's record. Like others have said, I wouldn't mind it so much if she was actually defending the belt (in feuds/matches that had any weight to them, as well).

I don't mind anyone breaking Punk's record because it's basically a made up record to put him over at the time. He doesn't have near the longest reign in history, just within a certain window of history. Despite my hatred of "CM Punk" chants during women's matches, I am actually a big fan and wish him luck in UFC. I just don't care about his record.

Well I can't speak to what she is actually doing, the stills I see from Raw when posting pics for this thread seem to mostly be from tag matches, but we all know the real reason she is going to break the record.

Well what made his reign significant was the era, yes, and in truth he wasn't all that well booked IMO but not as badly as Rollins from what I've read on here. However I wasn't saying I would be bothered in truth, just again the motivations for doing it wouldn't be coming from the right place.

Now that I think about, I've noticed that whenever a heel Diva holds the title she doesn't really defend it that often. Remember when Maryse was the champ? I barely saw her defend it, in fact I don't even remember who she lost it against.

Rollins holding the WHC until Mania and US belt until RR could be glorious. They could change his character and have him evolve to HHH circa 2000. Right now Rollins is HHH 1999, but he has proven he can win some fights on his own and deliver punishment and can take a beating so they should build up on that. Build up the HHH comparison even more, adding fuel to the eventual feud.

I can see Rusev as basically becoming the new Kane circa 2002, i.e. whenever a heel or face has to be "punished," the authority character says "and I have just the opponent for you ..." and then Rusev's music hits and the audience goes "oooh, you're in trouble now.

ROH does two shows in a row, each featuring Jay Lethal defending one of his belts. Next week, the PPV has him defending both belts in one night. That's weird and seems like strange booking, but I'll probably still order it.

Over the last several days, there has been social media chatter about offensive language used on Twitter several years ago by WWE developmental talent Nhooph Al-Areebi (who performs as Jasmin) that included the "n" word and other hateful elements.

WWE issued the following statement to PWInsider.com about the situation:

"WWE conducted a thorough investigation and has determined that Nhooph Al-Areebi’s (aka Jasmin) Twitter account was used without her knowledge when she was 16 and 17 years old. Jasmin remains apologetic for any offensive remarks that were made."

Al-Areebi commented, "Unfortunately, I used poor judgment sharing my Twitter account with someone else. I am truly sorry for any offensive remarks that were posted."

Former WWE developmental talent Zahra Schreiber was released several weeks ago after hateful language and imagery was found by fans on her social media from a time period prior to her WWE signing.
