Thomas Jane?

After seeing him in the Punisher a couple hundred times t: I think he too would have been an excellent Johnny Blaze. What do you think?

Kinda. I just can't imagine him with a skull for a head instead of on his shirt. It could work though. He could be the old rugged johnny blaze from the ketch era with the pony tail. Just have him be jhonny, and in part 2 or later on dan ketch takes over and johnny comes back.

Cage will be a good Blaze and brings some name recognition to the part... The one thing I think Punisher lacked

No, I think there isn't a single person of the "younger" crowd of actors I would like to see. But I would have rather seen Cage look more like his Con-Air character.

Unfortunatly, I can't see Jane in anything else but Punisher, right now. To me, he is perfect for the role and picturing him as anything else is kinda tough.

Seein' we're talking about it, how awesome for a Hearts of Darkness (or at least a story involing 2 of the three main characters) movie be? Tom Jane, Huge Jackman, Nic Cage...

what is up with everyones obsession with casting thomas jane (the one man on the face of the earth who dosent want to play a superhero) as a superhero?

What's good about the Punisher is that he's not really a superhero (in the grandest sense of the word) and probably the reason why Jane took it... and is so good at it.

Buscemi eh? Now that would be an interesting Blaze. LoL. I would have loved to see him in the movie in some capacity though. I think he's awesome. Maybe a villian or henchman or something in the sequal wha?

Wolverine and the Ghost Rider? Wow!

I likde the Punisher for a while, since he was based on Don Pendleton's Mack Bolan which I read as a teen, but he never seemed to fit into the "SuperHero" category. I liked the character but would rather see the Wolverine and GR matchup.

What about Punisher and Spidey? Those were some great comics. Thoughts?
