better Marvel movie next year? I think it could go either way.

I hope Cap will be better. I think Thor will be a little better. However, I don't think Thor will be much better (prob just a tad if at all). It's going to be close, though.

I'm more interested in Cap as a character, but I think Thor has a shot a being a very good film considering the talent involved. At this point I have more confidence in Thor, but I want both to be good.

I'm worried now about half the movie being on earth,most of that half,I don't know how it's going to be good enough when he's talking and not beating up guys that he has to. Hopefully it will kind of be First Bloodish with the citizens giving him a hard time and him trying to find new knowledge and harmony while he's on earth. I really hope Thor's movie has enough entertaining stuff going on in it.

Captain America is my favorite Marvel character, but I think that Thor has a better shot of being a masterpiece; it has a more consistent director and seems to be getting more care.

Cap isn't far enough along in production for me to make that kind of comparison, although Thor has me a little worried. It's not anything in particular, just that they seem a little lost with the character.

Assuming both movies are good, I'd have to give the edge to Thor - simply because I can see him performing much better internationally than Captain America.

I think Thor has it in the bag, but Cap will probably have a good run at the box office - character recognition could take that movie a long way with the general audiences, especially since it does have a decent cast behind it.

The safe choice is Thor, but I just get a feeling that Captain will be a great movie too, maybe even better. I think quite a few members of the cast/crew have a lot to prove and a great opportunity to do it.

the green lantern construct effects will make or break the movie.

I'm standardly very excited about both, I just hope it all comes together successfully. It would be a shame to watch an avengers movie in which I only dig a couple of the characters.

Assuming both movies are good, I'd have to give the edge to Thor - simply because I can see him performing much better internationally than Captain America.

I'm going to go with this also, Thor has bigger worldwide appeal IMO.

I really have no idea, but i'm hoping Thor does well. As IMO Thor is kinda a unknown superhero compared to Cap.

I'm feeling Cap will do slightly better because of the recognition factor over Thor but regardless I hope they both hit it out of the park the way Iron Man did.

I too think Captain America might do better. I have a feeling that unless Thor is done just right, it will be seen as cheesy and following past fantasy movie bombs (Golden Compass, Eragon etc) it might be just a bit too much for general audiences. But Captain America, done well as a film with the themes of patriotism versus heroes versus history will be daring enough to work wonders.

This of course implies that both films are done well which I sure they will be under the Marvel banner t:
