I will only support this film if Vulture Man has a big role! It must happen!

This is a cool live action Thundercats fan film.

They look like LARPER's. Nothing awesome about this.

Once again, if this movie doesn't use the theme song it's dead to me. It has no hope without the theme song.

Also:

SNARF: You gotta snap out of it Lion-o! Get the Thundercats--

LION-O: Shut up you ****.

Seriously, who didn't just want to tell Snarf at least one time to ****. And would've thunk that the voice actor for Lion-o actually did it? Because he did.

Snarf wasn't atually the annoying one, that was his nephew Snarfer a.k.a. the Cousin Oliver of animation.

I hope this turns out good, I reallu do. Something like this is easy to screw up, it's pretty out there at times.

The makeup's a big question. I think the more human look from the comics would work better, not as involved a makeup job.

I remember those outtakes, funny stuff, great way to warp all those childhood memories.

Snarf is the poor man's Orko.

Still you can't make Thundercats without Snarf, even if just because he's such an annoying but lovable little ****. He's a **** but he's the Thundercats' ****.

Can we make him mute at least?

Well if I had my way, he wouldn't be mute and Lion-O would just say, "Shut up you ****."

I like its trailer style, but the actual footage of live action ThunderCats confirms that it doesn't work. This movie would need to be CG to be credible.

Could be horrible... that live action clip actually shows promise... it shows how easy it is for humans to look feline and still be slick and attractive. As far as I'm concerned, that's all the proof of concept I need.

I think the major problem with Thundercats is that the villain, Mum-Ra, lacks a certain... "I don't know what." He can be made to look scary, but his motivation has always been a bit fuzzy to me.

Well this isn't a live action movie, and I thought that fan clip was terrible.

He's Mumm-Ra the ever living. He's a big evil mummy dude. Wants to take over everything. That's it.

It was terrible... for a movie... as a proof of concept it's quite effective.

And while Being a big evil mummy is enough for a cartoon, for a movie you'd have to go deeper than that. I'm not sure there IS anything deeper, which makes him, storyline-wise, a weak villain.

I think a writer that's a fan of the show could come up with a decent motive. Perhaps he wants to turn Third Earth into his own personal kingdom, but can't due to the new visitors to the planet. He only had that chunk of land to rule, don't forget. Every other race had their own little property.

Is there ANYTHING deep about these villains in these big ass movies? No there isn't usually.
