Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland

They did the same thing with Chocolate Factory. Wonka is supposed to be the supporting anti-thesis to Charlie's protagonist, but they gave him a full-on plotline because it was Depp. I love the dude, but he will always overshadow in his flicks, that's just how it is.

That's what I loved about the Gene Wilder version. You don't see him until like 40 minutes into the movie so you got this HUGE buildup to the moment of his introduction.

the teaser was good. The visuals are beautiful as always but again, I'm just worried about the screenplay taking a backseat to the cinematography and set designs. I feel like Burton is completely stuck in his comfort zone now.

Sadly I can't when I'm at work. They blocked a lot of websites and players as well. Hell, every time I post here I have to go in and edit my posts to include spaces after every period and paragraph spacers. It sucks.
