really? i thought it was bland and cliched

Any ideas on what movie the teaser will premiere in front of? I hope they didn't play it already in front of G-force.

Latino Review published a script review that said basically the same thing. I;m a little confused though, because

the script review says there's going to be a love story between Alice and the Hatter, and Alice is going back to Wonderland for the second time, but Burton dismissed both these plot elements in a recent interview. Has the script undergone a dramatic revision?

idk, because what i read and saw in the leaked script seemed to match up....although we didn't see any indication of a relationship from the trailer...and what we see of hatter in it seems very different than whats described in the script

hes literally a brave (sane) freedom fighter in the script i read

but i was very disappointed with it

my friend who read the whole script said the trailer matched up pretty well. BUT..the love story thing doesnt make sense. cause he said there was one in the script.

so yeah RachelDawes, maybe it did go under some revision? the script he has was written quite awhile ago.

Always loved Sleepy Hollow. Depp is great as usual.

"I saw the headless horseman... HEADLESS!"

He faints like five times, it's so damn good.
I'm probably in the minority but I actually enjoyed his performance as Ichabod more than his performance as Captain Jack.

If done right that could be an awesome interpretation of the Hatter. Different but awesome.

thats a freaking sweet picture of the chesire cat! where did you find that?

way to make me soil myself in fear over that damn chesire cat.

damn that thing has scared me since i saw the original disney movie

agreed. if ledger was alive..im sure they would have brought him back to be a part of the 3rd film. under the circumstances though..they need to just leave the joker alone.

BUT

judging from this trailer..depp would do the part justice.

I know this is true. Im just a Mr. J addict, and I need more.

Is that Comic Con footage online anywhere?

Yeah... I could go both ways. If Heath was still alive, they might as well have called the 3rd one "Joker escapes from Arkham", but I just don't want anyone to ruin what Heath made. But if anyone was going to try and imitate Heath, i'd go with Daniel Day-Lewis or Depp... but I want Depp for Riddler.

I'd rather they just focus on different aspects and give it as different a feel from TDK as TDK had from Begins.

That cat is gonna steal my soul. :csad:

I heard on the radio yesterday, some guy was like "how are they going to do a third Batman without Heath Ledger?" and I was just like "umm sorry, I was under the impression that this was BATMAN 3 we're talking about... not The Joker 3."

I'd like to see the The Riddler and a villain we havent seen on film before.

But anyway, back to Alice... I cant wait to get dialog from the other characters, like the White Rabbit, Alice and the Tweedles.

^Especially Alice. It's kind of odd that she had almost nothing to say in the teaser given that she's the lead role in the movie.

the tweedles freak me out, esp how they look in this movie
