That cat will give people Nightmares. LOL Does anybody know who voices the Chesire Cat? I thought it was Michael Sheen but I just heard he's voicing the White Rabbit.

Stephen Fry voices the Cheshire Cat.

I don't get why or how everyone is afraid of the Cheshire Cat, I think it's cute as hell.

Some of you scare and frighten to easily.

^Same here. I think the cat's smile is cute. :word:

Right now at work on my computer desktop I have that HD quality screen cap of his face when he's got a full smile from the trailer. I love it, he cheers me up when I'm stressed at work because he looks so happy. :)

I'm not scared by it, but it is creepy. It's the smile that makes it creepy.

Who'd you too really think that if you saw the damn thing in real life though?

If I saw a real-life cat with a massive permanent grin like that I'd definitely be nervous, but this guy's a cartoon. Plus, he's the Cheshire Cat. I don't remember him being evil in the book.

It being a Disney movie, the fake looking CGI, and the strangely bright tone of the film killed this for me when I saw the trailer. I thought it was going to be a Sweeney Tood style makeover of the classic tale.

I thought the imagery was a lot darker than I was expecting. There wasn't a whole lot of super bright colours, like Wonderland is usually portrayed. And it's early so the CGI is going to look unfinished.

he may not be evil but he is mad. but then again they all are.

Every single character in this movie looks like they're just about to disembowel the hell out of you.

Yeah, it's not scary like seeing a crowd of zombies sprinting at you, but he's creepy in a more subtle way. If he just appeared outta nowhere on your dresser, just smiling at you, it'd be a little disconcerting.

The Hatter or the Chesire Cat?
