Truthfully I have never really seen anything from the show so frankly I don't care how faithful Burton is to the material. But for me, as a stand-alone Burton experience/movie this looks pretty darn fun.

While I was making those gifs I was rewatching the trailer on mute because I had A Perfect Circle's Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums and it oddly fits in.

Speaking of Batman Returns...I noticed:

"Burn, Baby, Burn!" was a line in both BR and the DS trailer.

Catwoman was on top of Batman and licked him in BR just like Angelique on top of Barnabas in the DS trailer.

I didn't know much about "Dark Shadows" so I really thought she was playing the wacky robot of the show lol

The hair and pale skin makes her look artificial.
