to be honest, the last time i took pain killers was when i tore my mcl this year, so...

I don't take them to get off and hardly ever take them to begin with especially since my last crash did nerve damage to my bad knee so I don't have feeling in half of it anymore anyway. But after a good wreck I'll take a couple vicodin when I get home and lounge on the couch, the problem with vicodin is that it makes me so loopey I can't sleep I just go into a weird trance so I have to have a couple glasses of wine to compliment that and I'm out.
