It definitely looked better. Less "blue".

I have to admit that Curran Walters' head is becoming more and more distracting. I'm seeing more and more Marvel villain Hammerhead in him.

I enjoyed it though I wish that Donna/Kory subplot had more substance to it. The Roy Harper easter egg was nice.

Love Rose, kind of hoping they turn her into their version of Terra as far as deceiving the Titans.

Dr.Light.....well....his look was disappointing.

So when is Superboy showing up. I keep hoping that we get a glimpse or hint of him again and we never do

If I had to guess, I'd say episode 4. Episode 1 had the Deathstroke tease. Episode 2 introduced his daughter. Episode 3 will expand on that relationship whilst also bringing Hawk, Dove and Donna back into the Titans dynamic and the dealings with Dr Light; that'll likely span two episodes with Superboy having a scene at the end of episode 4, and somehow being involved in saving Kori.

At a guess...

Dr. Light's powers confused me. So he can just cause anything/anyone to light up and explode no matter how far or close he is?

I figure he sets a charge timer (of sorts) rather than actually having the ability to control a detonation. The two boom instances we saw where merely coincidences in their timing, both of which ironically failed. Maybe Dr Light would have better luck if he could literally make things explode where and when he wanted.

I really like how they’re using Bruce. He’s more like a sounding board for Dick. I don’t really care if he looks old. If they leave the action scenes to Dick and the Titans and just have Bruce off to the side providing advice, I would be okay with that.

I don't know when it was shot, but it does kind of feel like last week was actually the season one finale, (all the Trigon stuff) and this second episode was the "real" season two premiere...

I guess we'll have to wait and see because I thought it was weird how he was in New York and then somehow was able to go after Hawk & Dove in Montana or and then the Titans in San Francisco.

Yeah, we knew last season they had cut the season short and didn't actually end it the way they originally planned. They even showed some footage in the promos last season that we didn't to see. I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume most of the new stuff for the season premiere was with Bruce and Slade.

The second episode was really the season premiere. The episode they used for the premiere was intended to be the season finale for last year and was already shot and finished but got moved to season 2. However they took the Superboy bit from the episode and added it to the season finale for season one because they were really excited about that part.

I want to see the front, but the back of the costume looks good so far. Doesn't look like they tried to add too much crap to it. Left it simple, which is why I like the first black and blue Nightwing costume that was used in the Dixon run.

Nightwing costume looks promising, though.

another great ep!! This is definitely an improvement over S1, both tone wise and look wise. It's still a mature, R-Rated show, but now it's feeling more like a comic book series.

My only complaint is in regards to Beast Boy.

I hope they utilize him more than just as the resident, obligatory tech geek. I get that the visuals of his power require more CG, but he needs to start turning into beasts. he's not just a guy with green hair.

I really liked the interactions between Rachel/Rose and Gar/Jason.

Hank seems to be embracing being hero or the return of the titans by the end than dragging the reluctance drama. Nice interaction with Dick at the end


The moment between Deathstroke, Dr. Light and Jason was awesome!

It was an ok episode.

Korys storyline had every trope you could think of and just isn't interesting. They need to do more to Alienize Kory and her people. Especially with a world of metas, her eyes lighting up when she uses her powers doesn't do much. Give her brother and everyone from Tamaran, red luscious hair and some more fish out the water moments. Saying "Tamaran" "spaceship" are the only things that remind us that she isn't from Earth.

Definitely starting to think that Gar is just going to be the tech nerd, he isn't able to be fully utilized so I wonder how long they will keep him out of the battlefield. How did he/Jason get all the way to the warehouse only for Gar to notice that Jason is suited up?

Doctor Light...he has a fairly simple costume...not sure why they had to give him some ugly gladiator thing to wear. But of course the episodes ends at the most interesting part lol.

I need more of the OG Titans though, that seems like the best storyline this season.
