I couldn't actually tell that the actress is that much younger than him based on that.
I think her little straight face bemusement at him makes her look like she's *acting* older which is a great idea if they actually make her younger age relative to everyone else explicit; Beast Boy can be older than her but less mature, and she can be so wise beyond her years that just seeing her reacting to him can be hilarious.
It might alos play into them having a brother and sister style relationship if he goes out of his way to try and get her more normal kid moments.
Bruno Bichir (Absentia) has been cast as a recurring opposite Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop and Teagan Croft in the new live-action series Titans, from Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Sarah Schechter and Warner Bros TV. The series is slated to premiere in 2018 as part of the inaugural slate of a new DC-branded direct-to-consumer digital service.
Bichir will play Dr. Niles (The Chief) Caulder, a pioneer in medical science, searching the world over for those on the edge of death in need of a miracle. Brilliant, but controversial, Dr. Caulder will stop at nothing to help those he believes are in need, including his collection of strange heroes known as The Doom Patrol.
Drop Dead Diva alum April Bowlby has been cast as Rita Farr, a.k.a. Elasti-Girl on Titans, EW has learned exclusively. An actress on the rise, Rita Farr was exposed to a toxic gas that altered her cellular structure which, in the comics, allows her to expand or shrink her body at will. Longing for the days of old, Rita finds a place for herself among The Doom Patrol.
Robotman has been cast:

Warner Bros. has been drip-feeding the details of the Doom Patrol cast over the last week or so, and we're here to bring you the latest piece of casting news: Dwain Murphy (Star Trek: Discovery, The Strain, Degrassi: The Next Generation) will play Larry "Negative Man" Trainor on the show.
is it wrong that I'm more interested and excited for this show than any other DC CW show or DCEU film?
Im looking forward to WW2 and Aquaman a lot. Not sure yet on Shazam. Broseidon, lol. It's totally understandable. At this point, there are only three DC films we know are definitely happening, and that's just because they're already in production or pre-production:
I have high hopes that all of them will be good, but at this point, who knows? The first Wonder Woman was great, but there's always the worry that the sequel won't measure up. I hope it does, but I have to admit that the recent Kristen Wiig rumor/news has me a little... concerned. Wiig is a good actress but I have a LOT of trouble picturing her as Cheetah.
- Wonder Woman
- Aquaman
- Shazam
Then there's Aquaman (or Broseidon). I still like Momoa but his macho bro-dog shtick is wearing a little thin on me. I get that Aquaman was a joke for years and WB wants to make him "badass", but... there's more to the character than that. But so far, that seems to be the only aspect of Arthur that they want to tap into.
And I feel like Shazam has a ton of potential, perhaps to do what DCEU's Superman couldn't; create a fun superhero who isn't angst ridden and sullen and isn't afraid to embrace the dorkier aspects of his personality. My only fear though is that they'll go TOO far in the other direction, and we'll have another campy mess on our hands (think Green Lantern).
Have they updated any information about the streaming service? Does it have a name yet?
