That whole Facebook account is obviously run by WB. Nothing wrong with that, mind you.
it is not obvious, in may be affiliated but it is not run by WB. Maybe the facebook page will gain exclusives in the same way bluetights.net did and how BT.net was affiliated and had the video journals. but in no way you can say it is" obviously run by WB"

It is not run by WB, though. The webmaster said so a number of times.

if it was run by WB why would they admit it? if thew whole point of the site is to make it look like its from a fanboy?

'' Jason is not superman's sont. SInger said it. ''
''Neeson is not Ra's. they said he is Henry Ducard''
''Snyder didnt confirm Zod. so he is not in the movie''

come on .

And I totally believe him!

I like the Facebook account, those guys and they're doing a great job. But I know for a fact security is incredibly tight on that set to the point where the crews can't even take pictures with their cell-phones. Or even have them on. Yet we're seeing pictures up close and personal of Snyder, Cavill, Costner, etc. rocking behind the monitors watching play-back and so on.

Plus WB also has a Facebook actively running for The Hobbit run by "Peter Jackson" (aka his assistant and some other cats). So it's not unheard of to think they'll do the same for The Man of Steel. There were some attempts at getting an answer for Blue Tights on the reboot, but don't know what happened.

I'm fairly certain that WB started flipping the bill for Bluetights...

I would shorten the length by a foot at least.

Love the color but I really miss the shield on the back of the cape. I mean, remember the awesome Death of Superman covers?

If we get a scene like those for this film or future films, the cape flying without the shield wouldn't cause as much impact.

Everyone's missing the point about the cape. Yeah, the shield isn't there and that kinda sucks, even though if you step back and think about it, why would anyone ever design a logo on the back of a cape? Back in the day, when people actually wore capes, no one ever put logos/emblems/crests on them. That doesn't really make much sense outside of the concept of Superman.

Now, back to what's so great about this cape picture. THE COLOR! That color is perfect. The red is awesome.

Maybe the yellow :super: is detachable :super:aran Wrap that Superman has just thrown at Zod.

It's Kryptonian fashion. :cwink:

Those pics didnt come from the facebook page at first. The close-ups came from other sites and guys with really good cameras. Those were probably leaked by some guy in the set or WB but most of the pics you see on that page is fans who live around the Plano area. There's people there that live 5 mins away from the Kent farm. I really dont think WB has anything to do with it....yet.

The yellow \S/ on the back of the cape is too difficult to CGI on flowing material

It was also difficult to CGI for the 2006 movie and the animated series

They do patterns on flowing materials easy enough these days. That wouldn't be the reason.

I think the only time that I"ve seen the Yellow S on the back of the red cape via CGI was for the series finale in SV, and those shots didn't look as comfortable.

do you think they will adjust the costume colors in post production?

I hope the reason there is no yellow 'S' is for aesthetic purposes, and not financial considerations.
I understand 2006, but 2011? CGI has moved quite a ways since SR.

Colours are generally always tweaked in post prod. I would imagine Snyder will do so. Right now, from what I've seen, the costume looks fairly dark. I think it'd be wrong to go for the "gloomy" look that Superman Returns had. Just a thought...

The colors, specifically for the suit? That seems doubtful. Digital grading is common, but I think that's more of a general color adjustment for an entire shot.
