So do you guys thinks that will be a deal breaker for a lot of fanboys?
not entirely... but I'm not impressed.
i can live with it, but it really is a big disappointment

i wanted to see that cape symbol again... i really miss it.

@ SuperKal. Agreed. other than that it looks great.
I still like it overall, i'm just not as crazy about it now.

make it lighter and less saturated.... since he's in the shadows

I just made it a little darker, but I like the color.

Curious as to want point of the movie will this scene is taking place?

I prefer the cape without the logo. Of the classic elements, I always thought this was the most disposable. The overall look remains regardless of its exclusion.

Plus, to me it was just superfluous.

The Returns suit also didn't have an \S/ on the cape and it looked fine. And so does this.

Ha. I thought the cape was the S logo was the actual cape. I was excited. Now I realize it is a manip. Dammit!

That's where it needs to be, and in live action I'm digging no symbol on the cape. Thanks for manip, cause I think it shows they may have tried it and it just doesn't work out as well for film.

Good manip, but for film don't you think it looks less silly without the symbol?

How is that Richard Donner got the \s/ on the cape to work?

For the same reason Jor-El could be played by a fattie in 1978 instead of a lean, Aussie in 2011. Because it was the 70s.

As long as it is muted, I don't think it looks silly. Looked fine on Reeve.

Not a big deal to me either way. I was sort of hoping for it though, but I was very sure it wouldn't happen.
