Sorry to dissapoint, but there's nothing there.No trunks, no thongs, no lines.Just that weird lines on the sides to break up the collor pattern from what i can tell.

I have no idea why they did that. You can CG a real face onto a CG body and it looks fine. But a CG face? Why?

It totally sucked me right out when I saw that..I sure don't want a repeat.

They did it to show off. They thought it looked great but to us it looked like s**t!

The Superman boards are the best on Hype. I love the people on here, even when I disagree with their opinions I still at least have respect for them...provided they aren't acting like *****ebags ofcourse.

Funny enough some of my favorite posters either liked or loved Superman Returns and I had the exact opposite reaction so...yeah, we rule.

I'm actually hoping for the opposite in a way...less slow/emotional/introspective stuff...the smiling with with the arms spread out, and all that stuff. I'm hoping there's much more impact, thunder, and speed to the flying...even in bright daylight. It's what we've gotten from things like Iron Man and Matrix that have upped the ante in what onscreen flying should be, whereas Superman has lagged sorely behind. Flying in and of itself isn't somehow cooler or more inspirational just because it's Superman anymore....the flying sequences themselves have to be stepped up above ALL movies thus far. With the action, the stakes, the conflict, the scope, and the sense of speed and danger.

Hopefully, Snyder's the right guy for this.

Totally agree on this. Does anybody know who's doing wire work for the film?

And for Pete's sake...can we get a real, legitimate TAKEOFF for his first flight in this movie? That's another area where Martix stole Superman's thunder...leaving aside the whole rippling/warped virtual reality around Neo. But the power of that takeoff from ground to air, and shooting away like a rocket leaving a thunderous wake...I really feel that BELONGS in a Superman movie.

You might be able to do a bit of that with wire-work/rigs. But the real dynamism would come from CG animation (Fleischer style would be nice). With a guy on wires, you have to deal with real physics and g-forces. And if you fudge it by under-cranking the camera, it looks wonky.

It was so ridiculous in the first place. It made no sense whatsoever. Superman forgot his costume and had time to go back to the Planet to change it?
