I can't help but think the cover would look even more epic if Lois wasn't there. She doesn't ruin it or anything (I'm actually very happy to see her, and she looks great standing next to Superman), but I just keep imagining what Superman would look like if she wasn't alone, and I find myself liking that mental image more. But that's just me.

I think there are some manips that have removed her from the photo

Actually, the thing I would change is keep them both there but have Clark ripping his shirt open and revealing the "S" on his chest. His posture in the pic is perfect for it. I'm very happy with what they gave us though.

I agree. This cover has a more complete feel to it whereas the Empire cover felt like it was still at concept stage. Lois is a great addition also.

I'm pretty excited to see how they modernize Lois besides the tablet. Will she have a bluetooth headset and tweet? Maybe Daily Planet has it's own news show on TV.

^ This. I don't believe these are photos of the characters, but rather the actors dressed up for a photoshoot. Just look at the photo of Kevin Costner and Diane Lane - you can't tell me that's how Ma and Pa Kent are going to be dressed in the movie.

I thought the only version of the Comic Con trailer was a horrible-quality one on YouTube that was pulled almost immediately. But even if it is online, I don't think I'll search for it. Quite possibly there are scenes in there that might be in the April trailer, in which case I would only be spoiling it for myself.

Reading spoilers or learning more about a big movie than I should before the release, for me, is a bit like eating KFC: I really look forward to it and it's amazing while I'm enjoying it, but afterwards I just feel horrible. So in this case, I'm happy to let Warner Bros. play the role of dietician.
