Yeah that secret identity is really going to be tested what with her looking for him in Smallville, probably before she even meets Clark Kent.

Ah yeah, I was getting confused by the fact that the photo she's holding up seems to be from Smallville, since it matches this set pic pretty well.

But yeah Lois is def in Alaska there. Anyways just got my copy of the mag, time to delve in

The suit looks good but I wish behind the S looked more gold/yellow than silverish. Otherwise an improvement from SR for sure!

Yeah that secret identity is really going to be tested what with her looking for him in Smallville, probably before she even meets Clark Kent.

My theory for the “no glasses deal” was this: The Smallville residents must (surely?) recognize the newly revealed Superman as that “Kent boy.” So perhaps they collectively agree to keep this secret (yeah, that’s a stretch). But during his Alaska wanderings, CK is plausibly disguised with a beard (and maybe he uses a fake name too). Thus, while people might connect the heroic bearded man to the future Superman, there’s no direct association to Smallville Clark. And if Lois was just investigating the heroic bearded man, she wouldn’t necessarily be able to connect him with Clark either. Except… she appears to be in possession of photo of a glasses-less and beardless CK (taken in Smallville). So there goes my theory.
