They need to go all out with these movies and eventually have Darkseid. The Avengers has [BLACKOUT]Thanos[/BLACKOUT] for Pete's sake.

What? Where?

But Darkseid probably wont show his ugly face until a Justice League-movie.

He'll be in the after credits scene. Maybe you're right but I'd rather have Darkseid show up in a Superman movie first, then possibly show up for a JL movie.

Damn, that totally sounds like a sequel which judging by the potential B.O. numbers is a dead given. Cant wait to see his appearance.

I'd love to see Darkseid in the last MOS-sequel, but I think he's too big even for Superman, who'd appear almost like a mortal man next to Darkseid. He's just in a completely different league altogether.
But a JL-movie might be very far of into the not too distant future. :oldrazz:

I see what you did there. :hehe:

I like how Superman has that underdog thing when compared to Darkseid. Gives him more of a challenge than most of his enemies can offer. Darkseid's powerful but Superman has beaten him before, plus it would give Supes a chance to REALLY show off his power. If they fought on Apokolips I could picture buildings toppling and shockwaves flying... some real heavy-hitting stuff, because Darkseid can take the pain and Superman doesn't have to worry about endangering lives on that planet. They can both really let loose.

I can even imagine the fight starting on Earth, then have them flying through a Boomtube and continuing it on Apokolips.

To be honest I dont know too much about Darkseid and his abilities. Isnt he like some sort of omniscient entity like Galactus or is he just really strong and durable?

Galactus=Parallax

Darkseid=Thanos

(None are exactly comparable)

Because Marvel knows what they're doing, and WB/DC is clueless.

There won't be a Justice League movie. WB couldn't pull off something on the scale of Darkseid.

Yep. His writers pitched Darkseid for the second pitch.

Warner Bros hated the idea of Darkseid.

A Justice League-movie is way off right now IMO. They would need to introduce several characters first and some of them are relatively unknown compared to the members of The Avengers. Not to mention some of them are rather silly, so they'd have to really evaluate how to approach it.

Yea I thought I heard about it here on the forums, around the time they were still trying to make a sequel to returns, but I heard WB said no, well obviously lol

Hm. The only story I've heard was a Kryptonian showing up and hanging around with Superman, turning out to be Brainiac, and killing Jason.

It seems "Lobo" is more of a priority.

No surprise there.

Lobo could be the Hellboy-equivalent if done right. It could also very easily turn into some straight-to-dvd rubbish. I'd prefer an R-rated version, but I think that might actually turn out really cheesy.

Didnt Lobo go up against Superman? This absurd scenario is actually more up Snyder's alley.

Funny you mention Hellboy in relation to Lobo as I think that a Clancy Brown Lobo in Pearlman/Hellboy esque make-up would make for an awesome Lob movie.

R-rated and set entirely in space.

Brown is awesome, no doubt, but unfortunately a bit too old for what I would call a somewhat physical role. He also does not have the same frame as Pearlman which he should somewhat. Or at least be pretty big and bulky.

They could always do it as animation like they're trying to do the Goon where Brown voiced the test. That's a thing I dont get. Why we're not seing badass adult-orientated animated movies instead of family-orientated animated movies.

While I agree it's way off, I'd say Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Flash are all equally as well known as Iron, Cap, Thor, and Hulk.

And Aquaman and Martian Manhunter are definitely more well known than Hawkeye or Black Widow were before their film appearances.

For first Justice League movie, four or Five heroes are more than enough.

Supes, Bats, Flash, WW, GL are sufficient.

Out of these, only Flash and WW need solo movies.

Honestly, I don't even think you'd "need" to do solo movies for anyone first.

You could very easily just have a JL movie be the first introduction for most of those heroes.

They can make a JL movie first using the five and then make a spin off prequel movie on Flash and WW.

People already know about the character and origins of Batman and Superman, and to certain extent Green Lantern (thanks to recent GL movie, animated TV series, two animated movies and comics.)
