...is that Amy Adams as a brunette.

no, those are Kryptonians only man

That's Earthling disrimination, Empire! :argh:

I wish we had new pics of Amy. :(

Did you check the no discussion thread recently? Don't know if its legit, but fanboii posted a pic of her in there

He wasn't cast because of his "likeness" to Reeve. Fanboy non-sense.

I would have to say you are wrong on some level. Not saying that is the only reason he was picked to play Superman but when the announcement was made I remember when Singer himself had some kind of quote around the lines of "Wait till you see Routh as Superman you guys won't believe how much he looks like Reeve."

Well Routh did mention in a interview on how his likeness to Reeve was also a deciding factor in how he got started in the business since the Agent that he got signed up with took notice of that and thought it'd be a good thing since back then he (the agent) knew that they were trying to relaunch the Superman film series.

On another note, I hope they release another group photo where it has Cavil and all of the Major Earth Bound characters and to keep the numbers to 5 like it was with the Kryptonian group, I'd go with: Cavil, Adams, Fishburne, Costner, and Lane.

Hell, it would have been nice if the krptonian photo had everyone in costume, with Cavil in his superman get up and for the Earth group to have Cavil in his Clark Kent outfit and everyone else in theirs.

Based on how all our heads exploded for the single shot of Superman Empire cover, I'd say that would've been just too much too handle. :P

First Image: Amy Adams as Lois Lane

First official photo of Amy Adams as Lois Lane in Man of Steel!

The image comes from a black and white booklet printed and passed around in an event honoring Amy Adams.

Her attire is identical to that which surfaced in other images during filming.

That looks very Lois Lane to me, I'm not kidding when I say it looks like a frame of a comic coming to life.

She reminds me of this Lois here. A grown up version of the 15 yr old super ambitious and impulsive Lois. It's in the eyes.

Adams will have the spirit which is everything. Wrong hair-color? Oh my..

I wonder what or who she is looking at! And what's on that tablet! :oldrazz:

It's a funny thing- she will no doubt be fine in the movie, but when there is a character who has been depicted in the comics for generations, and they don't wear a 'costume', they tend to have no distinctive or even consistent features other than hair colour. When a still image of an actor/actress in such a role is presented, and that feature is different, it can be difficult to associate the image with the character.

I don't give a **** what color her hair is....she has been a redhead in the comics before and that is fine by me. People need to get over it already....

She obviously does pull-off the attitude of Lois Lane, even in a still image, which makes it particularly more annoying that they couldn't have made it perfect by dying her hair.

I don't think anyone needs to 'get over' anything, in that nobody has really complained.

But well done for getting the rebuttal in preemptively.

I rather seeing her as a redhead personally. So, perfection as an objective statement isn't really accurate .

I meant perfect as an adaptation of the Lois Lane character, in terms of accuracy according to how she has formerly and most consistently been presented.
