Are you serious? I made a comment about Wayne in correlation to the conversation that was already taking place. Don't try to tell me to stay on-topic when I already am & then follow up by asking a question I already asked a mere two to three pages back.

Anyway, no casting announcements means either two things: 1. They're keeping things under an extreme lock and key or 2. He'll be a CGI creation.

Well they did keep the lid on his appearance in the Avengers right up until the film opened, so I don't see why that could not be the case here, if he is even in this one at all. And if he is, it could just be a few days of filming, so who knows...

Well, it's already been confirmed he'll be in this one. Kevin Feige has stated he'll be given multiple appearances leading up to The Avengers 3 & GOTG is one of them. He also stated that it'll be more than him simply looking back and smiling.

So, with that being said the only real mysteries left are who's playing him (if he's not CGI) & in what context he'll appear since it won't just be a mid-credit scene this time around.

Yep, I think the intention is to use GOTG as a bridge to really introduce Thanos & get him known to those unfamiliar with him.

Cool - but even if he is trough out the movie - they could still shoot those scenes in a hand full of days, or even save them for the reshoots that they always seem to do on these shows - so it is still possible that his casting has been kept secret...guess we'll know in a few months...

My suspicion is that hes already been cast, but now Im not so sure. If its a big name, why wouldnt they want it out there?

I guess since we still dont know how big a role he will play and how much screen time he will have in the film, its impossible to guess. If its a glorified cameo with only a few lines of dialogue, they may not need to cast right away.

I know they've said that they were planning on him on showing him here, but due to the lack of casting news, my hunch is that they may be planning on keeping Thanos under wraps a little bit longer, while still alluding to him playing a behind-the-scenes role here. Saving his full reveal for GOTG2 or another cosmic-themed film in Phase III. Which I think would make the most sense as the film that would lead directly into A3.

That would mean Feige flat out lied, which he doesn't usually do. He may twist the truth or withhold info sometimes, but he's actually said Thanos is a character with dialogue etc.

The villians in the film work for him and are carrying out hid scheme of looking for the infinity stone. So he'll definitely have a scene with Ronan, Korath, Nebula. And one probably discussing Loki n the Collector

I think that's entirely possible, but may only happen once a lot more time has passed.

I don't buy that. He's supposed to be in GOTG, & as far as I know this movie is done filming so all work they're doing will be post production. The only way I would believe Mr. Fiege there is if he's referencing the fact that they'll need someone to voice him after the CGI is done & what have you.

But, yeah, they have to have done SOMETHING regarding Thanos already. No way they've released all this info & a trailer without having taken care of the main man.

Isn't there pick up shoots scheduled? Maybe they are all for Thanos? Or maybe they have cast him and Feige is just being secretive. I remember no one knew Kevin Spacey was going to be in Se7en.

I'd lean more towards Feige being secretive. I mean, they are building Thanos up to be their ultimate villain in the MCU so I can understand keeping the plans surrounding him hush hush.

DnA were interviewed about the prequel comic and they mention Thanos is in it.

Seeing as how Thanos is tied to Gamora and Drax. I doubt Thanos will have a small part in the movie. If they haven't cast Thanos yet then I'm starting to think they have no idea who they want.
