Now let's be honest, Kevin Feige has misled us before. Not necessarily with malicious intent, but c'mon he's not going to show all the cards.

I'm guessing that Thanos's voice actor will be a surprise, or they haven't cast him yet. I think it would be rather silly if the Collector did turn out to be Thanos, which would mean that Thanos also has this Puerto Rican accent like Del Toro.

I don't know who they'll get though. Maybe James Earl Jones? :o

Kevin Grievoux :D

This is the only name I've seen listed that I actually like & think could work. And plus, he's a huge comic book fan so I'm sure he'd love to do the voice.

Marvel, make it happen dammit! :jedi

Another great thing about Kevin Grievoux, aside from his voice, is his appearance. They could easily scan/mo cap him if they go the full CG route or use him physically for a mix of prosthetics and CGI.

When they mention the whole thing about Thanos being in love with Death, does anyone think they'll make Death an actually physically being like in the comics or will they make it more metaphoric and say he's in love with the concept of Death?

Thanos should be bulky, but not that large. Usually he looks weird when he's drawn Hulk-sized. Best to go for his Infinity Gauntlet physique:

Not much taller than Cap, just bulkier. The focus shouldn't be on Thanos' physical strength, but on his intelligence. You'll notice that, even though he's a powerful combatant as well, he mostly beats people by outsmarting them.

So much that when they do show deciding to throw down with his adversaries (like with Odin and Tyrant), it's treated like an event.

If Nathan Fillion is Thanos, then they should get Stana Katic as Death.

They should make Death into a Mistress as with the comics, helps make the idea more intriguing (imo).

I'm good with either or as long as they pull off whichever they go with and go all out with it. :)

I don't really want a hulked out Thanos. But if they're using mo-cap maybe that's what were getting. oh well, the voice/performance are what really interest me.

Reportedly has a cameo in the film
Thanos is supposed to have a small appearance/cameo in the film
Fillion is awesome
He's Canadian

.... It's all adding up....

In an interview he said to watch the credits of GotG. Hmmm.... maybe he is Thanos or his voice at least.

Thanos is going to be bulky. It's now a question about height. I think he's a little taller than Thor and a little shorter than the Hulk.

As for who's voicing him? I have no darn clue.

Keith David would be an awesome choice. Maybe too obvious, though. Even April Fool's jokes prior to The Avengers were claiming he would be Thanos.

As for Death, I want her to be a figment of Thanos imagination. He's so crazy that only he can see and hear her.

I want a mid/post credit scene where Thanos has just destroyed Asgard. He's standing by himself around the bodies of fallen Asgardians, including Loki, and the camera is close up on his face. He looks down and we see the Infinity Gauntlet. Then it shifts over and we see Death standing on some rubble. Thanos looks over to her. We the hear a voiceover from the first Avengers, "To challenge them, is to court Death." Then Death begins to fade away and cut to black.

Thinking about that literally gives me chills. It looks way cooler in my head though. Of course the only issue is Asgard falling or being destroyed.

I wouldn't have him destroy Asgard, though it does sound intense. I would just have him burst his way in, get the Infinity Gauntlet, and while Sif, the Warriors Three, some guards and Loki, who is standing in the back corner "hidden" are looking at and surrounding him, he slides the gauntlet on, closes his eyes, glares up at Loki, showing he can see him when no one else can, grins, and disappears. (Holy run-on sentence) He would then appear on his little moon throne thing and *your interaction between him and Death*.
