yes i am looking forward to the trailer, but as far as story so far, some of it seems uninspired to me, from what we know so far, but hopefully the actually final product will be better than what i'm thinking it will be.

actually thier making a war within megatron for the diecast line, as well as starscream and the fallen from war within. rodimus prime, soundwave, and scrouge will also be in the diecast line.

Yeah the diecast WW Megatron looks really good... can't wait to get that one.

either way, what ever they do, i'm just happy their making a tf movie, even if they change everything about it, atleast we are getting a movie, atleast ppl think this franchise can be made into live action, and hopefully future movies will come closer to the source material than what their doing now. but still, just happy their doing it.

Agreed...seeing how this movie is inspired by the Transformers...I much rather see a movie based on the Transformers. But I'm just happy they are getting mainstream exposure.

I read on another forum that someone was pointing out that there are slots/taps on the head and shoulds of MP-03 SS that serve no perpose unless that they plan to re-release another version with a crown and cape. I would for them to do that t:

I know that sucks... they will end having us to buy a another one just for maybe G1 colors and the crown and cape. Why couldn't they just given us the crown since we know they intended it to originally to come with it.

jnmx2000, i've been a fan for a long time. I've collected the toys, comics and the im a fan of the cartoons season 1-3 (including 4, if need be). I've never bashed the TF mythos, so I don't know where you got that from, i've joked about it, but not bashed it. Just because i'm looking forwards to the movie doesn't mean I don't like the Transformers, i'm just not negetive like some people are. I'm very excited about the movie. I don't mind the changes, i'm not going to gripe about them every minute i'm here. I just find it funny how upset some of the fans are (i'm not against it, just find it funny). I'm hoping the movie does well, but if not, then oh well.

I agree, I'll watch the movie for sure. Bay took a dump on it and there's nothing going to change that. Just watch the damn thing and if it's as bad as many fear, just pop in the cartoon and stab your Bay voodoo doll. No reason to let Bay hurt you so deeply.

Man, it's totally not an "oh well" for me. This is one of "those" movies that I've only dreamt about seeing on the big screen. Godzilla and Spidey being the others. I know the comparison has been brought up a gazillion times... but, I don't want this movie to be like the former. In other words... forgetable.

I never said that it's an "oh well" for you, rightfully so. You show a passion for the Transformers more then me, and believe me, I love the transformers mythos. I guess i'm not so worried about change. I was skeptic about the first spider-man movie, but when I went to go see it, I was blown away. And then the sequel came out, even moreso.

I want this film to do good, but i'm not going to throw myself out a window and take a swan dive onto the concrete should it fail.

I disagree Dog Lips. Miracles can happen in post-production. Look at Predator.

I still hold on to the hope that Steven Spielberg is only letting Bay do the grunt work. He'll clean up this attrocious mess after all is said and done.

It's always possible, but most problems are with designs and script at this point. Spielburger needs to step in and tweak the script so it's not just a mindless Bay action-fest. The designs are probably a lost cause, but I'm sure if the movie kicks ass that will be forgotten 10 minutes into the movie. Just keep up the hope.

I did that with Armageddon and Pearl Harbor. And I lost IQ points (as you can tell) for my open-mindedness... not to mention my time and money. I vowed I'd never let that happen again. Plus throwing away $24 for tickets for you and your loved one is pretty stupid.

I'm definately seeing this movie on the day AFTER opening day. If the word of mouth is bad I can wait a few months for the DVD.

I wonder if they're going to allow it to be screened for critics? That'll be interesting.

I predict that these designs are the ones we are going to be getting with maybe a minor tweak or two here and there. If the designs are 50% different in the final movie than they are now I will smash my 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime on youtube.com and post the link for all to watch here.

I still think (hope) that the faces will be replaced with CGI. Meaning, for instance, Bumblebee won't look like a reject alien from some 1950's sci fi movie.

They literally pulled off the final Predator design at the last minute. The Original design for the Predator would have turned that movie, from a sci-fi classic into a frickin comedy. Anybody who hasn't seen it just check out the dvd extra..man! *shakes head*

But i seriously doubt we'll get any major changes with the TF's

I've heard that the filmmakers have tried to revise history and say they "planned it all along" .... which- if true- I'm sure was news to Jean Claude Vandamme.
