Very funny--and spot on. When I was watching the Comic Con Loki video--for ONLY the second time, mind you--my husband stood behind me and said "you're watching that again?!"

Just thought of this but as awesome as Tom in character as Loki was I've watched the secret leaked footage of the new Godzilla and it's kind of gotten me excited for Godzilla. I mean look no further than my name for an indication of my fondness for the Big G!

After watching the comic con stuff, I'm glad to see classy, witty and talented guys like Tom and Hugh getting their dues. Both got their big breaks playing their popular characters and still look as willing and enthusiastic for the fans. Great to see.

Anyways...now that I've been watching some of Tom's older stuff I kind of dig his blond, curly hair. I like his unrefined everyman look of the old Tom. Maybe all this Loki craziness and overly groomed stuff is why I haven't gone full on fangirl.

Tom just has such a boyishly innocent look on his face in that image.

It might just be me but is anyone else concerned with just how close people have been getting to Tom's personal space uninvited? First red flag for me was that girl at Cannes, and this video has me concerned especially because of the lack of security or bodyguards creating a safe perimeter around him.

I know that this particular Youtube channel is known for borderline stalking celebrities and Tom handled himself well, but it worries me that he's being so aggressively pursued like this, and not just by the paparazzi. People are getting way too close to him. Maybe I'm worried because of too many celebrities I have seen as a young kid taken by fanatical people like John Lennon and a then up and coming actress in the 80's called Rebecca Shaeffer who were both killed by people that were delusionally driven to murder them. Tom's management team really needs to start taking things seriously and hiring trained protectors for him when he goes out in public or at the very least more police need to be posted at big events where there will be high profile celebrities.

I know it sounds a little paranoid but a healthy dose of fear can go a long way in protecting someone from harm.

I mentioned this on a another website...where the question was did Tom stay in character:

Kept on thinking about the Stuttgart scene in "The Avengers" while watching the various videos of the performance. Loki's smile/laugh IMHO is sadistic in nature. He's thinking that this is way too easy. The reaction he got from Hall H confirmed all of his warped assumptions about the human race.

As for Tom's performance (can you even call it cosplay?)- he knew about this event a couple weeks beforehand to prepare. The delivered lines were rehearsed with some variations on the classics. Seemed to me that maybe a few lines were never spoken. Either he forgot the lines (unlikely) or decided on stage that they were inappropriate. Wonder if he was looking for more audience interaction when he was pointing? Hoping that someone would ask a question so Loki could deliver some put downs?

Anyway, it was a fantastic display of the magnetic power of Tom Hiddleston... the tumblr meltdowns are now legendary!

You know, the long, straight black hair is a nice look for Tom. It's sad to me really...just when I thought I'm over this silly obsession with a fictional character Tom goes and does something like this to make me lust after the psychotic bastard all over again.

I've always liked blonds, what can I say? Loki is hot looking but he's a fictional character that's been constructed by the hair, makeup and costume departments. Tom Hiddleston is a flesh and blood human being on the other hand.
