You think so? I think it's important - it shows that it's really beginning to hit the boys that they are all probably going to die. Sure death has been mentioned as an option before, but now it's a reality.

Yep, exactly. And it was filmed today.

I hope they have the little "moment" between Grantaire and Enjolras that they added in the 25th anniversary concert. People who know what was implied between the two in the book can read into it what they want, but even without that potential added layer it's a nice moment between them. (1:16-1:30 of the video below if it doesn't automatically start there)

Wow, I did not know that. That was awesome in its subtlety, and changes the way I will see the musical from now on. :wow:

**begins Nic Cage voice**

"How did I not see the veiled homoeroticism in Les Mis?!?!" :cmad:

I wonder if there will be any kind of audience for this. I just wanna know how he sounds!

Going off to sleep for the afternoon while Hugh Jackman sings "Bring Him Home" #bliss #lesmismovie #barricadeboys

Guess you'll just have to wait. :p

Someone on another board brought up a point that I didn't think of - I took "going to sleep" literally, that he wasn't needed for the scene and was taking a nap. Another thought might be "going to sleep" meant that he was watching the scene and the song sounded luike a lullaby.

Aren't several of the barricade boys asleep during Bring Him Home? I know Marius is, but I could've sworn he wasn't the only one.

That is a beautifully lit shot. Still think it's cool that they gave Colm a role.

Andy Coxon @andycoxon1
Hugh Jackman singing 'bring him home' 14 times in 2 hours. #musicaltheatrehistory and I was there #lesmisfilm #lesmismovie

Poor Courfeyrac :funny:

Fra Fee @frafee
Absolutely ragin that enjolras made me "take the watch". Had to stay on me feet all day as the rest of the barricade lads lay asleep!

Just saw the leaked trailer. Looking gooood. Can't wait to see that thing in HQ.

Think it will be attached to Snow White & the Huntsman (the next Universal release)? Or Rock of Ages since it's a musical?

So will Anne Hathaway perform " I DREAM A DREAM"? That is also one of my favourite songs from the musical.
Yes. Her version of that song is what plays over the trailer (at least in the bootleg one).

Teaser looks fantastic. But...that's the "redefined" version of "I Dreamed a Dream" by Anne Hathaway? Maybe its sound issues but...meh.

Am I the only one who wants action figures from this movie? I want sculpted ones in the 1:12 scale, so Jean Valjean can interact with Legolas, Spawn and She-Ra.

I don't know about "redefining" but Anne's version certainly sounds emotional.

I hope Hathaway's version will make people forget about Susan Boyle's version. Nothing against Boyle, but it seems like it becomes her song and not Les Miserables' and I'd like Hathaway's performance to be the new definition for the song.

EVERYTHING against Boyle. The woman cannot sing.

 It will be for me, anyway.
