Wow, that's gotta hurt

Starting to feel really bad for Trank

Why? His arrogance and rebellious decision-making got him to this place. But at least he and Michael Jordan had this one last chance to work together again. :whatever:

15% and Empire's review is not included yet? (a "virtual" 14%)

15%!!! Keep 'em coming, Planet Earth!

Now if I understand correctly their our 5 more reviews that we know of "4 negative and 1 positive" which have yet to be counted into this 15% rotten tomatoes score. Is this correct?

Unless I'm not understanding their rating ratio properly, I'd think it'd drop to 13% with that added hit, no?

I don't know what's more entertaining, watching this film's RT score tank or watching your glee while watching it's RT score tank. :D

Hey let's go to the movies this weekend! What to see --- what to see. Hmmmm...

There are at least 4 RT valid reviews that still need to be added, all with no better than 2* scores.

"An origin story that’s all origins and no story, there’s a hollow, stale feeling to this (trash)." - Empire

All that's left is the box office tank job or trank job as it were.

The fan base that revolted has to be feeling vindicated this day.

Praying for box office bomb myself.

OK, the true shock I get from this pic is that The Gift is at 94%. :wow: That looked like such garbage! But apparently it's directed by Joel Edgerton (whose past work as a writer I generally like)? Interesting! Thanks for putting that one on my radar.

Yeah, that was what I was talking about. However, isn't Devin going to give it a positive review. Meaning 4 negative 1 positive, or does he not review with Rotten tomatoes.

You're welcome. :yay:

He is on their Critics List, but I think all he has done is post twitter comments so far, he is yet to post an actual review.

Edit.

Spoke to soon, he has just been added as a positive to RT.

Another fresh rating (by Devin Faraci). Though not reflected on the site, it should be up to 21%.

My favorite quote thus far
"Finally, a superhero movie without action, character development or a plot."
Just what we've been waiting for!:D

Down to 15%

Full Review

"What Fantastic Four fails to grasp, at its own depressing peril, is that taking the source material seriously didn’t mean the movie couldn’t be fun. There was joy to be found in the Fantastic Four comic books: family squabbles and high adventure and way-out inventions and dastardly villains and the everyday nonsense that comes with being a celebrity superhero. This movie has none of that and, what’s worse, it has only replaced those winning elements with the last-minute promise that next time, maybe, in the sequel, it won’t suck."

And using the Ultimate version as "source material" was insane in the first place.

Currently is 3-11, 21% (new fresh one, Faraci's)

Adding 1 rotten (Empire's) would be 20% (3 out of 15 total, or 3/15)

Adding 4 from those tweets, would make it 16% (3 out of 19 total, or 3/19)

Does Faraci's opinion really count on anything?

Is it two hours till the embargo officially drops?

Faraci will always support his friends so of course he is going to be one of the lone positive voices.
