Top 10 films of 2012

Now that have seen most of 2012 films I can now formulate and actual top 10 instead of projected list

1 Avengers

It was just an amazing fun ride and Joss was back and made this movie work when it could have been very bad.

2 The Dark Knight Rises

Truth be told I liked this better then TDK but then again I liked Batman Begins still. While I do think 4 movies would have been a better idea in the saga instead of 3.NOlans chapter ended well and it was a powerful film

3 The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey

I very much expected to have this at number 1 while it still is a very good movie. Just not quite Rings and for me its just not better then the first 2 on my list. Maybe after I see it on DVD multiple times I will change my mind

4 Rise Of The Guardians

I am sad not enough people made this a hit boggles my mind for I loved this movie

5 The Grey

Wonderful great movie. Kinda reminded me of a movie called The Edge with Hopkins only its about a man wanting to die but in the end fight to live.

6 Skyfall

Finally Bond was back and this time braught a New Q and Moneypenny
While Its true I prefer Brosnan over Craig as Bond. You cannot deny that Craig as Bond has made great movies.

7 Lincoln

Great Movie and I am sure it will win Oscar for best picture. Its what the Academy goes for really

8 The Amazing Spider-Man

Was so sure I would hate this movie but it ended up being pretty good actuallys. Its not Spider-Man 1 but i did like how they took there time having Peter master his powers and made him smarter in this movie.

9 MIB 3

Brolin as Young K made this movie good really and the movie was allot better then MIB2

10 Snow White And The Huntsmen

Iam guessing the twilight fans will see this as a bad movie because of the scandle but if you don't care like me what actors do at home. Then you can just enjoy a movie and I did.

Really surprised to see the Bourne Legacy and John Carter in some people's top tens. I thought they were awful, particularly John Carter which had one of the worst pacing I've ever seen in a film.

I'm also very surprised to see so many people give the movie props and to see so many people place it in their top ten.

When I initially saw the movie in the theaters I remember my friend and I really liking the movie and although flawed- we were both really pleased. Then from that point on that movie was universaly panned by critics left and right and forever-shapped by its EXTREEMLY disappointing box office performance.

It got to the point that i thought I made up the movie being good- no way I could be so wrong so it must've sucked after all...lol. But after a second view on cable I still maintain it was a fun movie not worthy of half the hate it got.

So bravo to all who listed it and didn't let the critics shape and effect your own personal taste.
