Top 10 films of 2012

Updated list:

1. Lincoln
2. Silver Linings Playbook
3. Django Unchained
4. Zero Dark Thirty
5. The Dark Knight Rises
6. Les Miserables
7. Argo
8. To Rome With Love
9. The Master
10. The Hunger Games

Now, I must see Moonrise Kingdom and Life of Pi. Otherwise, that list may be final.

1. The Avengers
2. The Hobbit
3. The Hunger Games
4. Wreck-It Ralph
5. Ted
6. Flight
7. Looper
8. MIB 3
9. The Amazing Spider-Man
10. John Carter

(I just want to note that I just recently saw TDKR and I must say that, in terms of expectations, it might be the most underwhelming movie I've ever seen. It's not bad in the slightest, but when it ended I just didn't care. Compared to Begins and TDK, it's significantly below those two films. I didn't get chills once, I didn't laugh once, I didn't get excited once... except seeing Catwoman doing her burglary stuff for the first time. I really wish I could like it more but I honestly have no desire to see it again.)

As has become tradition, I'll probably have to wait until the end of January before Coming up with my top ten, given how many of the quality Oscar season films from December don't get their UK release until then. This year, I wouldn't like to say my top 10 is complete without having seen Django Unchained, Zero Dark Thirty or Lincoln.

Avengers
Django
Hobbit
Dark Knight Rises
Skyfall
Life of Pi
Argo
Moonrise Kingdom
Looper
Lincoln (this will probably get bumped after I see Zero Dark Thirty)

I feel like I need to see In Bruges before I see Seven Psycopaths.

I'd say go for it. I don't know which I prefer though.

They're both must-see movies, imo. Which one I prefer seems to depend entirely on my mood, lol.
