Trades you're still waiting to see?

I think i found the Daily Bugle mini (legally) is it called Spider-Man: Daily Bugle and runs 3 issues, or is that something else?

The Taskmaster Mini from a couple years back. That needs to be in trade.
Indeed. That was a really great series that fully deserves a TPB.

Acts of Vengence. Mutant Massacre. Fall of the Mutants (especially the X-Factor one) All the New U books.

TMNT-the first series from Mirage. Maybe then I could ****ing find it all instead of trying to find the single issues.

they did make trades, and they aren't that hard to find. check Amazon or ebay

I'm hoping the X-Men trade Gambit to anybody for some official MLB Baseballs to use in thier baseball games.

In reality, i'm hoping they get Deadpool's series into trade or essentials.

which brings up a question: why're they called trades anyway?

The actual term is Trade Paperback. It comes from the world of book publishing. The trade paperback in the book world is the type of edition a book has that is a softcover in between the hardcover and mass-market paperback in both size and price.

Trade Paperback comics are thus those comics whose edition is different than the traditional floppy single issue and a hardcover.

yeah, I know it come from Trade Paperback, I'm asking how does the word "trade" come into it?

Because God wanted it that way. Oh snap, close thread.

Oh. Trade just means "business" or "industry" in this instance. Basically, when the term first came into use, it was used to differentiate the books from mass-market paperbacks. Trade paperbacks were sold in bookstores ("trade" stores) and mass-market paperbacks were sold on newstands.

Today, the difference really just comes down to size/price though since both MMPBs and TPBs are sold in book stores and newstands.
