The great economist, Donald Trump, doesn't seem to realize that a continuation of slavery would have completely impoverished the south. Uh.....folks.....slavery doesn't work on so many levels, it deserves to be right where it is; in the dustbin of history. Is it completely eradicated? No, but the less we see of it, the better. The same can be said of our current economic system. It'll take some time, but it will be replaced by something that works better for the majority of people.
