God, I hated Jazz so much

Could work as the alt mode for either Hot Rod (who I hope is not in the film) or Sideswipe/Sunstreaker.
Ramius here,
So I've got a list in front of me the roles up for grabs in the soon-to-be-shooting "Transformers 2" (June 2 is apparently the first day of principal photography).
Here's the specs :
Chuck: 19-25. Sam's roommate at Princeton. He runs a conspiracy theory website. Funny in an irreverent, edgy way, he is shocked to see his conspiracy theories come to life. 2nd Lead;
U.S. Military Leader: Late 20s/Early 30s, African-American with a great sense of humor and a tough military presence. Supporting Lead;
UK Special Forces Leader: Early-Mid 30s, British, smart and capable. Can be Caucasian, Black, East Indian. Supporting Lead;
Galloway: Early 40s-Early 50s, male, National Security Advisor and presidential liaison. A curt man who is tightly wound. Supporting Lead;
Professor Colan: 40s. Sam's physics professor at Princeton. He's a self-satisfied intellectual who compares himself to Einstein, and is arrogant enough to wear leather pants to look cool;
Theresa: Early 30s, African-American. She's Sgt. Epps' wife, has 4 kids, sassy and sexy, good with comedy; Momma Simmons: Late 60s/Early 70s. This NY Momma runs a deli/ butcher shop with her son in Brooklyn. Tough and sarcastic;
Massive Dynamics CEO: 50s, male. This Corporate CEO appears in front of congress to testify;
Texas Congressman: 55-65, on a Congressional Committee investigating the purpose of the "Automated Defensive Initiative" developed by Massive Dynamics;
FBI Director: Mid 50s, male, giving a press release assuring the public they will be safe against attacks;
CNN Reporter: Male/Female, any ethnicity. Reporting on missile strikes and bombings in various cities;
Head of Sector 7: 60s, female, aggressive and no-nonsense leader of a secret government agency & speaks with sass;
NASA Shuttle Pilot: Early 30s, male, Caucasian, African-American, Asian or East Indian, intelligent and sarcastic. Most gifted pilot NASA's ever had;
Murray: 40s, a NASA IT tech, spastic and brilliant, he's capable of breaking down and reassembling the world's most complex computer;
Sam's Ex-Girlfriend: Late Teens-Early 20s, cute and cerebral, a total arty girl that leads her own punk band;
Eric Witwicky: Early 30s, Caucasian, Sams much older brother. A stiff and pedantic personal injury attorney. Loves money and having more of it than everyone else. Supporting Lead;
Funeral Director:50s, male, spacey yet kind-hearted funeral director that buries Simmons. Can't help but put his foot in his mouth every chance he gets;
MJ: 19-25, Sam's RA. Third year college student studying bio-chem. Stuffy and stiff lipped, he's a hater of all things fun; President of Uganda: Meets with US Special Forces to give them access to his land;
Leroy Mason: Late 30s-Early 40s, super tall ex-basketball player turned business man. Bumps into Sam to give him advice;
Basketball Player: 19-25, tall, well built athlete who will be asked to participate in scrimmage basketball game.
That is way too many bodies to put on the big screen.
When are these people going to learn that I don't care about the fleshy commentators? Nobody does. For all of their fear about what a talking robot would look like, people were happy with it and wanted more. Stop wasting my time, Paramount.
 , throwing in not only Sam's brother but also an ex gf means there is going to be still a lot of focus on human character development.

I'm sure if you describe most of the humans from the first film they'd sound like one-note characters. Bay has an irritating tendency not to see this.
I call 'rumour' on it myself. Unless Bay makes the film three hours long.
agreedWell those silly cops in TF1 only got a minute or two of screentime, so some of the cast in TF2 could end up with minor roles like they got.
I think Golgo is right, we're simply jumping the gun here...at least i hope
