Do we know if... or when... the TF cast list will be revealed?

You mean the bot voice actors? Probably the last thing we'll find out, close to the release date if the first film's marketing is any indication. Also that's if this damn SAG strike doesn't stop TF2 early June start.

I can't wait to see the list of Transformers actually in the movie. It's driving me crazy.

As previously reported here, Isabel Lucas has been added to the cast of Transformers 2. But with all the misinformation going around, no one can be certain of anything regarding the movie. That is until now.

A report has just come in from The Cairns Post, an Australian news outlet, that Isabel Lucas was picked by Steven Spielberg (Producer of Transformers and Transformers 2) for the upcoming sequel to the blockbuster hit.

The report states that Spielberg initially saw the Australian actress working on the war epic "The Pacific" and was so impressed by her role that he pushed for her to get a role in Transformers 2.

A spokesperson for Lucas's agent Meissner Management stated that she will most likely be cast in a 'strong supporting role'.

Lucas was pretty popular over here in Australia and Spielberg does have an eye for young talent, I just hope it's not a replacement roll for Rachael Taylor (the aussie actor from TF1).

Bay must of cast 2 aussie actresses Isabel Lucas and Teresa Palmer.

Courier Mail is reporting that Palmer has been cast in Michael Bay’s Transformers 2.

now we have news that Australian actress Teresa Palmer has been cast in the movie.

Nothing to be to excited about but the http://www.transformers2.com URL is now working on the original website, hopefully it wont take to long before the site is "transformed" into the new TF2 site.

Damn it,I can't take it anymore! Someone on the inside has to crack. If you guys know what I mean. The only character I am EXTREMELY worried about right now is Soundwave! HE MUST BE IN IT. And remember, say no to stupid fembots,it's bad cheese..very bad cheese.
:word::o

*Shakes fist due to lack of certain Transformers 2 information

I have to be honest, the character of Sam has grown on me to the point that it wouldn't be a TF movie without him, I really hope they build on the friendship of Sam and Bumblebee. Still, the focus should be mostly on the bots.

Blasphemy!:cmad:

Actually i agree with Avan X... Yes as a Transfoiers movie the focus of said movie should be on the characters called Transformers.....

But you also need some human characters, Sam, Lennox, Mikaela (preferably wearing what she's been snapped wearing for Jennifers body :P) plus maybe Keller.

You can scream Blasphemy untill your blue in the face Golgo-13 but thats my view.

It is blasphemy, and we don't NEED a human character to make this movie work, you WANT a human character...big difference.

If the whole movie was set iun space then, yeah there's no need for any human characters...

But it's not, it's set on earth... a place bustling with Humans. i also didn't say that 'for it to work it needs humans' i just think it'll be better if there were some.

To use a bad example, it'll be like going to Germany and there not being any Germans there.

i hope you're not trying to imply that they could make this movie work with just transformers. if that's the case, you know absolutely nothing of which you speak.

I guess your the leading authority on the subject? :whatever:

See Hollywood has us ( or should i say some of you) all brainwashed, into thinking we need a 'window into a world we might not necessarily know'. We need to see the TF's through the eyes of someone else. Well i think that's hogwash, and i think that generic formula is getting rather stale. But what's done is done now, no good changing things for TF2, cause then the movies won't merge together.

The start of this discussing involved the fact that Sam, and the other character of TF1 'needed' to come back. Well i disagree. Why not see the TF's through the eyes of different characters. Maybe even in a different country/continent altogether like Asia, Africa, etc.

I have a news flash for you copyright: Sam is not the mold that is holding the TF franchise together; the Transformers are..and have been for the last 20 + years. And will continue doing so.

I hate Michael Bay and the first Transformers was loud and annoying.

However, I'm willing to give it another shot...

Ehh I liked more so for the fact that his character wasn't all that bad  /shrug

Loud? I've never heard anyone complain about that before. Very strange. :woot:

So of course it is going to be loud. :o

It's amazing how moronic that post was. You REALLY don't know how good movies are made.

The problem with a Transformers movie without humans is this,it defeats the purpose of them(the Transformers) hiding by turning into vehicles and other earth based objects. Also,it would be weird if they lived on earth with no humans around, thus making the movie less Transformerish. It would also partially make the Autobot's reasons for protecting earth meaningless as well. And last,a Transformers movie without any humans would be way too much money.
