......I don't think I want to know what exploded. Though the idea of Nimoy voicing The Fallen would truly be epic. Didn't Nimoy voice Galvatron in the old school TF movie?

Yes, Nimoy was Galvatron the 86 film.

Posting on the Don Murphy forums, Roberto Orci states that himself and Alex Kurtzman, the writing duo who gave us 2007's Transformers Movie and this year's upcoming Revenge of the Fallen will likely not be returning to write a third movie

“Time for fresh blood!” writes Orci. “The main reason we would move on is because we risk getting stale and comfortable. If you only sing one song for too long, you miss the opportunity to sing news songs. We’ll see.”

damn. this was what i was worried about. the trio that made the first and second so awesome would at some point leave. so long as Bay stays the director and Paramount doesnt get impatient, we should be fine. Bay doesnt like lame ideas thankfully.

Well, now you can all start casting your favorite screenwriters. Maybe Stuart Beattie would take a whack at it. After POTC and G.I. Joe, it's somewhat doable.

Today marked the release of the Issue #4, of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie Prequel: Alliance comic. Issue #4 is the final issue of the story arc and directly leads into the sequel that will hit theatres on June 24, 2009. Because of the tie-in nature, several details that will be featured in the sequel were revealed in the comic. Details include:

The company McClaren Robotics is a government front/cover for arriving at Transformers battle scenes and cleaning up any evidence of an alien presense at the scene. The only previous mention of McClaren Robotics was that actor Steve Tom was cast as McClaren Robotics CEO.

An AllSpark fragment is seen in a government storage facility. The storage containment unit looks very much like the containment unit seen in promo pictures.

In the issue, the Autobots discover that several Autobots have received the beacon call Optimus made at the end of the first movie. Five new Transformers are revealed in their vehicle modes: the Centennial Corvette (Sideswipe), three motorcycles (the Arcee bikes), and the Ice Cream truck.

On the final page,
the Autobots and human allies are in a dark command center as Optimus calls for the team to head out to Shanghai. Seen on the monitor is Demolishor. Although not all details can be made out due to the room being dark, one can clearly see Sideswipe and two of the motorcycles in their individual robot modes

The post above me includes HUGE spoilers. If you are currently awaiting this film's release, DO NOT read the spoilers above. They will ruin your movie experience! If you like spoilers then.......ENJOY:yay:

Really? I did not know that. It looks rather futuristic.
You have to remember that most combat airplaines and bombers were built for the future in mind. They're meant to last decades on end.

Wow. We're in a spoiler thread, and the spoilers are under spoiler tags. Yet, we still need an alert about the spoilers. Thanks, man.
:whatever:

Wait, am I detecting sarcasm in your post???

So they had a lot of Blackbirds back in the day? Since it says in his bio he chose it to blend in, and it sounds like Blackbirds were very common back then, and still I never heard about it until now :oldrazz:
Maybe it's just me who is slow :whatever:

I dont understand. They take one of the baddest Autobots of all time and turn him into a broken down hasbeen. I am not trying to trash for the sake of trashing but listen....the autobots are adding to their arsenal a broken down old decepticon, a robot that walks with a crutch... 2 retareded looking siamese twins that were joined at the jaw before they were separated, and a girl almost no bigger than a human. The decepticons are getting some bad**s warriors. It bothers me alot. It is like Bay thinks it is fun to make fun of the base. I just dont get it.

Am i truly the only person who thinks it looks dumb?

^^ Edit much?
And is it really necessary to post the exact post in 2 different threads?

Probably....the Autobots have always been cast in the underdog role....there are plenty of episodes of the cartoon where the Autobots take a kicking from the Decepticons....I like that they are outnumbered

I was once chewed out by a mod for posting open spoilers in a "spoilers thread"...

And no, your "sarcasm detector" isn't picking up any sarcasm.

The Decepticons were always warriors. The Autobots were, in the begining, the workforce type. Go watch the pilot episode.

Exactly. In fact, I'm more troubled by the fact that Autobots seemed to have superior firepower over Decepticons, even though they weren't supposed to be warriors in the first place. The difference between Autobots and Decepticons is more than just their insignias alone.

I would love how to know how Arcee and Sideswipe picked new vehicles, and the twins picked a worn-out and trashy ice cream truck, lol.

Perhaps they get made fun of, thus them having new vehicle modes in the film.

Much like how Ratchet upgraded their weapons for ROTF(said in the Alliance prequel comics), Ratchet most likely gave them powerful weapons for the first film.

And also, their weapons haven't been THAT successful; Bumblebee PLUS the Army had to shoot Brawl/Devastator so many times until he went down.

I know this is my third post in a row, but I just found this out and didn't know if anyone knew this: the three motorcycles are three different female Autobots, they don't all create Arcee.

The pink one is Arcee; the blue one is Chromia, the supposed girlfriend of Ironhide, and Arcee's sister; and the purple one is also Arcee's sister, but as of this point, she is nameless.

source?

I'm so glad they axed the whole Arcee combiner idea and made these three separate bots.
