i know what the matrix of leadership is i am also a child of the 80s . i just wasn't sure of the movie version because bay flipped the script on this **** and redesigned everything. and i kinda dont like the new MoL it should look more like this

According to the novel for ROTF that

Allspark knowledge that was downloaded into Sam's mind is transfered to the Matrix of Leadership

(so in a way it's kinda similar to TFA .)

This was the All Spark container in TFA.

This is the G1 Autobot matrix.

The resemblance is not that strong....one being oval and the other more square.

Besides that there's a good size difference.

Even with that in mind.....How is it " kinda similar to TFA"????

It barely looks like the TFA version, and in TFA the All Spark is a TF life giving\repairing force.

Not "knowledge" to be extracted or inputted.

Looking at this makes me think. In the first movie, Optimus is the only Transformer who never transforms back into his alt-mode. Could it be, that at the end of this one, he will transform into his alt-mode with Jetfire's parts forming a trailer?
