*sigh...*

Any word since the so-called confirmation? I for one think that the confirmation is nothing more than an effort to get us to be quiet. Like someone else said before, those vague responses may sound like a confirmation, but are really just a way for the studios to sayt they dont know and dont really care. :csad:

This is WONDERFUL (I too registered just to reply to this!!). My personal request would be the very FIRST theme you hear in the movie, i.e the one which starts while the Special Ops team is riding in the helicopter discussing home and 'gators, and then running on into the arrival and attack by Blackout on the base. (not the attack by Scorponok, the one by Blackout....).

Also....the final battle sequence from Optimus' here-comes-the-cavalry entrance to his battle with Megatron.

Good work! Love it!

FYI: Transformers just made it onto the IMAX website (www.imax.com) under "coming soon" for release Sept 21, so that has now been formally verified.

Its funny, but Michels work is actually BETTER than Steve Jablonsky. I have one song that is original and one that Michel did and Michels edition is actually better hehe.

Seriously you got talent man, i am 100% sure you are on such a level now that you can actually be side to side with people like Hans Zimmer and Jablonsky without a doubt.

Hey michel...

I'm sure you're busy with either school and/or work.. family obligations, stress, general grind of life stuff. however you seem to be of no shortage of inspiration and talent!!!

So, would you feel up to the task of composing your own transformers suite. Not quite just a compilation... I'm talking a suite! A collection of the above themes woven to tell their own story... Something with its own beginning, middle and end. Something sweeping and epic that would offer the more poigniant and haunting portions of the Transformers themes as well as the heroric. Something Vastly more than the sum of its parts. Something so ambitious that it will be ill fated to never quite please you. It will feel unfinished, at least at first, but with continued listening, you realize that you were building something that once released, will grow on its own in the imagination of the people listening.

C'mon, michel, You know its in you. Lock yourself in your room, estrange yourself from family, make even your pets hate you... but compose this suite.. its sitting on the tip of your head.. you know it!!!

The idea wasn't bad... but I think we couldn't wish such things from Michael. He has his own life and idea that he would like to bring to fruition.
Composing music is a spiritual thing.... it needs time, inspiration, stillness...
But I think when Michael has time and joy he will compose beautiful musics for us... as he did 3 times already.

There is only a few week until the release, don't give up!

Kaiyoti, great job! I was wondering what you used to make that and also do you do this as a hobby or as a job (paid)?

Thanks everyone for the comments.

@millennium movies
I used Cubase, Gigastudio, and Kontakt, various synthesizers.
I do this for both hobby and paid jobs. Currently involved in two working game titles.

@leday
You know, I'd love to make this longer too, but time is scarce for me. I'll see to it for longer tracks.

Question to the mini Steve Jablonsky. I know Micheal used that silver program but I would like to know what notation program you used and if you used a electric piano through MIDI, I'm trying to compose a score for a movie I just made and need to know your setup so I can.

:woot: At the moment I am busy and therefore I don't plan to produce more Transformers tracks. Maybe when I will find some time later, I am going to compose more additional tracks.

Hello all,
I decided to do my own rendition of the themes from the movie.

http://www.kaiyoti.com/music/Kaiyoti - Transformers.mp3

I aimed for more "In your face" type of deal... not that Steve hasn't done that already. Let me know what you think.

Kaiyoti.

Great job! Very good. :yay:

I used the EWQLSO Silver more as a VST plugin in Cubase. You can use Cubase or every other sequencer (Sonar, Logic) for notation. In the sequencer program you can either use the Piano Roll or the Note Editor. As for the Keyboard, I used the M-Audio Keystation USB.

@all: Thanks for the comments about the latest track. I am glad you enjoyed it. :woot:
