@zenefan,
hey thanks, i will send you the audio file, as soon as I`m back from work.

Your work were uploaded.
My tips for you:
Just see that every sample you would like mixing, have to be on the same quality/dB and beware of the measure mismatching. Otherwise the final mix didn't have its own harmony.
Keep it up!

hi everyone!

I've just seen the movie and I think that score is great, and I was really disapointed when I realized that it's not available.
I've already filled the petition. :)

zenefan: Could you send me pls the 'Steve Jablonsky - Autobots Descend Theme - HQ Rip Edit'. It's really good!

Hi, my name is Darth FJ^^ I'm from Germany and watched Transformers 2 times. It was great and awesome! Sorry for my bad english. The Soundtrack is one of the best scores i've ever heard. I hope that they would release.

To the Question of Bumblebee:

I know following songs from the scene:

"Who's Gonna Drive You Home Tonight" by "The Cars"
"Baby come Back" by "Player"
öhh.. "I feel good" by " by "James Brown"
"Sexual Healing " by "Marvin Gaye"

Sorry I don't know anymore. Hope I could help you!

Thanks Darth FJ! That's a start.

I shall do some iTunes searching.....

:hyper:

During the desert battle scene it wasn't the kraken part that I liked but the repetitive building part that starts when they call in airsupport. You hear that same repetitive theme later on when Optimus pulls that 180 turn on a two lane road.

I found song that hans zimmer and steve jablonsky both worked on. It is from tears of the sun. The soundtrack itself wasn't the greatest, the the song was awsome. I believe it is call "jablonsky variations of cameroon outpost" It is really sweet. I also just found out that bits and pieces of the armegeddon score was done by Jablonsky. That quick military sounding que that is loud and obnoxious I believe was done by him, considering there is a que in transformers that is almost Identical.

Of course songs that sound similar is going to occur constantly. Take for example the original Klaus Bedelt Pirates of the Carrabean. Then listen to one of the themes from Hans Zimmer's Gladiator. If you haven't heard Either of those I'll upload a side by side comparison.

This has Pirates and Gladiator so you can compare them side by side. As well as The tears of the sun song.

The link doesn't work!

It should be working, I just tried it. Create an account then have it so it automaticly logs on. If that doesn't work, do a search for: Gladiator, He's a pirate, and Jablonsky variations. That should find them for you.

is it possible to download those songs from that esnips site?

If Sony/whoever is putting out the score wanted to not worry about piracy and copying of the music from the movie, then they should have released the soundtrack before they released the crappy wannabe inspired by soundtrack. It's only a matter of time before the people who really want this score to come out, turn to other means in order to accomplish that craving. In this case, the Transformers Score is the craving and it was not satisfied like it should have been in the most logical situations. Sony/??? made a terrible move in first off, not releasing the score...especially when the movie was obviously going to be a HUGE success....second, thinking that people would not buy the score soundtrack as much as they would by the inspired-by album. I hate, like many others do, the inspired-by albums. they are simply a marketing ploy for all the fans who sucked into that mess. I'm sure many of those people who bought the crappy inspired by album were extremely disappointed that it wasn't the score. I, like most, would care less to hear artists that were really more inspired by the paycheck rather than the movie, play songs that have absolutely nothing to do with the movie. The score is the real soundtrack to the movie and the fans were malnourished by not having the real soundtrack. If Sony/??? wants to cry about piracy and people not buying the score now, let them. It's simple cause and effect. What's the quickest way to take care of the effect? You eliminate the cause so there won't be anymore effect. Sony/??? not releasing the score, the most logical move to not only maximize profit but also gain a larger customer base, was the cause. So now there is an effect. That is the first way to eliminate piracy. The second way to eliminate piracy is to produce music that people will actually want to buy and have in their collection. Steve Jablonsky did just that...he created a score that a bunch of people want; that people crave, so badly that they are forced, for lack of other options, to create their own version of the score. It's not Steve Jablonsky's fault....it's Sony/???. Jablonsky did his side of the deal. So as far as piracy goes...I would agree that if SHH does not support it than we shouldn't activiely support it on here either. However, by Sony/??? not releasing the score like they should have and when they should have, they by default support whatever consequences may result...piracy, in this case.

Now, does this mean I support piracy? To an extent. Only in certain situations is it reasonable. This case is one of those I believe. Sony/??? is denying the artist (Jablonsky) the exposure to his now developing fan base and the transformers fan base that want this score. In such circumstances, it is my opinion that it would be a reasonable act to create temporary means for the score. Once the score is released though, I don't think piracy should be an issue anymore. This score is way to good to be pirated on p2p servers or any other file sharing methods. We have created temporary means to satisfy ourselves. There will be no reason to continue with those after the score is released because nothing that we will make will ever come close to Jablonsky's true score. For now it's alright, but once it comes out I believe we should stop all creating, and/or distributing of the created files.

NO.
I mean the same score which also "HolyHappiness" means. It was repeated (a bit faster) when optimus made 180° turn to follow bumblebee.
The Decepticon theme is similar sounding but with vocals and slower. So its not what i'm looking for.

I mean the following part from 3:11 minutes to 3:59 minutes of this video.

Why are you just writing? Today I have almost the same idea...
....Something forget everyone!
On the first minute when the score will be released, a tons of users will upload the full score to the net, and I think 3/4 of the fans (who wrote everywhere "...I need this score, where can I get it... etc.) would rather download it instead of buy it, and that is very very unfair to the composer.
Who is true fan, would buy it!

After the release, I close my folder, and try to order a piece of this Score Cd ;)

What do you mean why am I just writing? something forget everyone? That will be their choice to upload it. However, they will do so for no personal gain and it will result in a waste of their time because it does not help them in any way. I personally believe that in order to reduce the piracy rate the artists need to produce songs that people would actually want to buy, and the company distributing the songs would need to do it in an expediate manner. It's common knowledge though that piracy will never be stopped and it will keep on going on and on. It can only be reduced...

Og My god i seriously need to have that airstrike theme in the scorponik battle.

If soemoen can recreate it and upload it i will appreciate it.

Good points Jack Sparrow789 and HolyHappiness!!! Do y'all do music?

Apologies for not responding to your reply. Yeah, I've been in music from for around 9 years now. Matter of fact, I'm attending UT Austin to major in film directing and screenwriting, and minor in musical performance - voice, as well as music composition.

Does anybody know this soundtrack: 'Basil Poledouris - Starship Troopers - Klendathu drop +' ?
I had the same feeling listening this score like when the scorpion attacks the squad and they call airsupport.

sssssssssssss!!!! Yeah, I'm an Aggie...hahaha. funny how those things work out. I wish I was doing music, but there isn't enough money in it unless you are one of those top few players. ut has a good music school and i've heard that their film school is good too. Is it film school? What year are you right now? Were you ever in band or choir?

The particular piece I keep looking for that nobody seems to re-write into midi or otherwise is what I have dubbed the "Optimus theme" Where the autobot decent them switches pace to a 'new found hero' break as Optimus climbs up out of the pool, making sure not to step on the little girl...

That refrain then continuiation on to the encounter with Sam Witwicky is just .. AWESOME to behold. Musically I can't really say another time where it really gave me the mixed chills from the mixture of cinema and music for a hero scene.

If anyone would be interested in doing a great midi mockup of the WHOLE decent / hero thing... I'd almost be willing to pay for it if I could afford it. ;)

Take care all and I'll be hoping with everyone else that the score comes out soon. (And that this piece especially is on it! :)
