Transformers Transformers - Score by Steve Jablonsky

The particular piece I keep looking for that nobody seems to re-write into midi or otherwise is what I have dubbed the "Optimus theme" Where the autobot decent them switches pace to a 'new found hero' break as Optimus climbs up out of the pool, making sure not to step on the little girl...

Ok, I'm sorry to be a stickler about this, but I've seen this discussed earlier in this thread, and in another thread, as well, and I thought it was done. Optimus Prime lands in the field, and runs past a huge tree in the field, and then scans the semi. Ironhide, who is almost as big as Prime, is the one who emerges from the pool, then scans the TopKick in the family's driveway. Sorry to bring this up again, but it's not really a matter of opinion who is whom. Watch carefully the next time, and you'll see. Not a sermon, just a thought.

I don't care who it was that came out of the pool....all I know is that the movie is DAMN AWESOME...and I loved every minute of it. :yay:

I left wanting more. And the score soundtrack. AND THE DVD ITSELF. And an '08 concept Camaro that speaks through the radio. Aw, hell, I just want a damn guardian robot.

:hyper:

Agreed. Can't wait for the DVD. I'll be watching it nightly, like I am with 300 right now.

I have 300, but I'm waiting on my fiance's dad's new LCD 52" BEAUTIFUL tv to be set up before I watch it. :hyper:

I would so not budge when I get the TF DVD.

Yeah, I'm visiting with family right now...they've got a 60" Sony Vega...awesome. Not only does 300 look great, but also my XBox, including the Transformers game, which (and I don't care what others say) is a fun and great-looking game. I only wish licensed movie-games would have the actual soundtrack in them, which would be another way to stave off the withdrawal I'm having over the TF score.

This topic has gone way off (well, sort of...:trans: ) but how do you like the TF game? I'm considering getting an Xbox 360 and the game. Is there a multiplayer function on it? Can you duel each other?

But wow...a 60" Sony Vega.....purty!

No, there's no XBLive OR offline multiplayer (ie. co-op) play on it. One of the only things I saw was a drawback to the game. That's ANOTHER thing about movie-licensed games, besides the soundtrack thing...very few have multi-player. Spider-Man 3 the game would have been f-ing great if it had utilized the score AND allowed players to do co-op, or fight as SM and Gobby, Jr. It's just okay, without all that. TF, on the other hand, is still great, even though it doesn't have Live capabilities.

Klendathu drop is a very happy song! I NEED THIS SCORE. I NEED AIRSUPPORT SONG!!!!!

The desert attack piece is definitely good, but The Autobots Descend/Meet Sam Witwicky is the crown jewel of the score, in my opinion. Both times I've seen the film, I've gotten goosebumps when that theme starts playing as they break atmo.

Can someone create a midi of the airstrike theme on scorponoks plz?

Bummer, no co-op capabilities. That's the perk to the Halo games. Hmph.

I'll still get it though because it's TRANSFORMERS!!! :trans:

Ok hey, regardless of who it is that comes out of the pool... which yes it does happen to be Iron Hide I checked and YOU ARE RIGHT if it makes you feel that much better, I concede to your superior observational skills and ability to be indifferent when music refrains might imply main characters.

Not to mention the fact it kind of gives Iron Hide an added depth of character that's rather nice I think. Even my girlfriend was saying "Awww.. isn't that sweet!!!" ;)

The original point being, Autobot personage aside, I REALLY like that refrain and would love it if someone were to include that in their remakes I've been seeing... that's all I was saying.

See ya'll!! :)

:wow: Dude, you're the man!!! :wow:
Thanks for your effort. I truly appreciate your work and I'm sure so does everyone else on this board!!! Gute Arbeit!!! Greetings from Austria!

This is what it comes down to with Paramount/Dreamworks reluctance to release the score: dedicated fans who happen to have some skills in music need to create their own versions.

BTW some great themes on your homepage, Michael, really quite awesome!:cwink:

Michel ... that is just all kinds of awesome.

Really really good work!
*bows and salutes Optimus Michel*

Michel I salute you. Thank you so much. It is truly awesome.

Thanks a lot Michel!

Is there a possibility that they might not release an official score soundtrack at all?

Due.. that was firggin fantastic!!! :) Any chance we could entice you to continue on? You're GREAT!

Thanks tons!

Michel you are the man!!! This is so wonderful!!! If you can we would very much appreciate more. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

So does anyone have the theme for the airstrike/desert battle with Scorponok?

I loved the score espeically the scene when the autobots arrive.

Michel could you please recreate the scorponok attack theme. It would be truly awesome. You have great music skills and I love the autobots theme you made. Please consider making this one as well.

Vielen Dank Michael, Thanks a lot. Thats great.
Please make the airstrike/scorponok theme.
