Transformers theme online

The new one is meh. It feels so dull! Like it's not something you be like **** yeah thats jammin, no they got some indy pointless band to do it.

Hey anybody got the opening with the SW style crawl instead of the voice actors?

I'll see if i can find it on Youtube.

WOW! I found it! Can't believe this.

You guys have no idea how much this means to me. This is the first time i've seen it since 1986, when i first saw the movie. Every other version i've seen or own don't have this. God bless the internet!

Hey Golgo, just paste this between the youtube code: GXlxSH48p00.

And I felt the same way you did when I bought the dvd recently. All of my other Rhino released copies had the UK version. Ironic eh?

Listened to the complete Theme from Mute Math... I almost fell asleep.

Yeah it's so dull. It's like SM3 credits, it had a bunch of indy bands like Killers doing the end credits, it was ****.

Did, still doesn't work that's why i just posted the link instead.

I'm just curious. How popular was that horrible transformers sountrack of the 80s. I'm not one of the few transformers fans that thought it sucked or am I? That being said the Linkin Park song isn't great but, I don't think it's that bad either. I'd listen to that song a 100 times before ever contemplating hearing any of the rock songs from the original transformers soundtrack.

Yes, I posted it earlier today...
..It got an R rating and Speildberg somehow had the MPAA drop
to a PG-13. Seriously..I know you are just DIEing to get a rise outta me,
but you won't...be cause I know what I'm talking about...
Try read my posts S-L-O-W----L-----Y.

I was right and you were wrong. As I said, similar to you- I believed that Spielberg did influence the mpaa with Transformers in those regards for a while due to that article. However, somebody over on imdb corrected this for me and showed me two articles which I have provided below.

And it didn't hurt that Spielberg was involved with the movie. While he tends to stay hands-off with Reitman's low-brow comedies, Spielberg talked D.J. Caruso into directing "Disturbia," and was so taken with LaBeouf that he cast him in "Transformers" as well as "Indiana Jones 4." "Steven knows thrillers better than anybody," says Pollock.

And for the second time in his career, Spielberg went with Reitman to successfully appeal the MPAA's R-rating.

"There was no sex in it, little swearing and no drugs," says Medjuck. "It was very intense; we cut back a bit on the violence. It was never anywhere near a slasher movie."

The thrills became so intense that Caruso (Director of 'Disturbia') actually had to battle the ratings board for a PG-13."I do feel like, particularly people who grew up with Shia, this might feel like their first R movie experience."

I won't give what those "intense moments" are away for those who may not have caught the film and are waiting to rent it or something... but, the MPAA's prior-choice to the film is not that surprising- it was somewhat of an intense. Because "once the **** hits the fan" things go- really fast. Even so, it didn't call for an R rating.

Don't get me wrong, the Transformers action will be off the hook. But, it was not the film that Spielberg influenced the MPAA to change the rating from R to PG-13. That film was Disturbia.

How could Shia have been confused? I would be too, if I were in his shoes. Both Disturbia and Transformers were produced by Spielberg and both are Dreamworks films. So it's probably more of mixing the two up due to their similarities and how he may have heard the news.

Do I need to go any S-L-O-W-E-R for you to understand me? Lmaol.

I just listened to MuteMath's full version of the Transformer's Theme and I love it. It has the electronic, kind of robotic feel to it, and I think the drum work kind of gives it that drive. I know others here don't like it, but that fine. However, I myself like it better than the nu-metal version of the theme. It seems to feel more like something that would fit in a movie, possibly the end credits. I will definitely be picking this album up when it is released.

the transformers soundtrack is one of the best soundtracks ever.

well regardless of your opinion this is where you lost your credibility.

You're alone on that, chubby.

What credibility did I lose? I think you just lost some of your sanity by suggesting that all transformer fans must have the same taste in music. I didn't like bland hard rock music in the 80s and I certaintly don't like it now. There's reason why that type of music died 17 years ago.

It wasn't bland, and back then it sold as much as any band does now, if not more. Remember, that rap/metal style will bite it just as hard, if not harder when the next phase of music kicks in. It's the natural evolution.

At least the new one is better than the lame rap crap.

"Read to die for what we love." X 10

Can't believe that there are people who dislike the 80's Soundtrack. To this day it's still one of my favorites.

Would you RATHER Jay-Z do a RAP rendition of it instead?

Yes I actually maybe would. What's up with you and rap you have made like 3 posts against rap. I clearly understand you don't like it but some people do. And yes maybe a remix track would have tight if done right. Anything would be tight if done right. I hate rock music but ill rock out to a power rangers theme.

Styles of Beyond is on the music inspired by soundtrack...hopefully they have a decent track.

I think it would've been cool to hear something like what the Spawn soundtrack did in 97...combine rock and electronica. Something like Prodigy and Tom Morello. http://www.amazon.com/gp/music/wma-...09/ref=mu_sam_wma_001_009/102-1569791-4812910
