Method acting has been misconstrued over the decades. People don’t even really know what it means. It’s simply a technique to connect to a character through your own personal experiences and emotions. It doesn’t have to be a 1:1 and it doesn’t mean blinding yourself or sending used condoms.
Ding ding ding. Important distinction that is almost universally missed.

Or in Shia LeBouf's case killing small animals including stray puppies.

Wait what?! Shia went all Michael Vick on animals?
When he was dating FKA twigs a few years ago:

What a piece of absolute ****. He should be locked up in an institution and forced to watch a nonstop supercut of himself running around screaming “NONONONO” in the Transformers movies as punishment.

Yep. On and off for about 13 years, supposedly.
They also have a kid. I believe she got back with him after he tortured FKA Twigs. But she herself has no credible accusations. So she's probably just one of those people who pick bad folks to be in a relationship with.

Ah yes the "I can change him" crowd.

The Shia LaBeouf stuff is why I also side eye Mia Goth for still sticking with him after all that.

Wasn’t she sued for deliberately kicking, injuring, and berating an extra on the set of MaXXXine? Or was that all disproven?

A24 denied the allegations but I think the lawsuit is ongoing.

Last I heard on this, the accuser has a bit of a history of being a scammer and let's say... less then savory. Also the story itself just sounds sketchy as hell. I could believe she kicked him by accident running by and then got mad at him. But what he described? Sounds like a classic slip and fall situation, where he decided to add a lot of dressing to play it up.

- He warned people for her to not get too close before.
- She kicked him intentionally.
- She was forced to apologize.
- She then went and found him and berated him.
- He drove home and almost lost consciousness.
- He was then fired.

This all happened without him a) telling anyone about nearly dying, b) telling no one about her berating him, and c) no one else seeing this "kick".

That Rolling Stone reported on it says a lot honestly.

The Jared Leto of it all aside, the cinematography for this film looks fantastic. It reminds me of what their movies used to look like before they went with the washed out, cheap-looking and drab look and color grading a lot of their films started having around 2019-2020. I hope that’s a sign they’re leaving that behind and going back to their Pirates of the Caribbean and Tron: Legacy days.
